It was a comfortable, spacious room with friendly staff. However, the pool and hot tub was out of service both nights so that was disappointing.

The kitchenette in the room was awesome. Cute little room with a nice homey feel. Microwave was missing in the room and pool was closed down - so had to go around to the sister hotel for pool/hot tub use. Convenient to local shopping, restaurants and activities.

The place has an old feel. Doors squeak, front doors kept opening and closing even though it was very cold outside. We could not contact the front desk via room phone - we had to use our cell phone to call them. When I did need a couple of things the staff did respond quickly.

The room had evidence of not being thoroughly cleaned. There was a chip on the tub. The heating system seemed inefficient. The pool was closed. The furniture and cushions were worn. The layout of the room was nice. The beds were comfortable. The fireplace was nice touch, and breakfast was good.

We had a suite that was ok. The toliet leaked in one of the bathrooms and ran all night in the other. Room was next to elevator and we could hear it in the room. The shower didn't drain. Couch and chair needed a good cleaning. Room needed some TLC. Also dirty dishes were left in dishwasher.

Outside the building the property had trash laying around. Inside: the floors were filthy through out. People were smoking weed so it smelled. The building is run down and needs to be worked on and spruced up. Our room had ants and bugs In it. When I told the front desk she said she would tell maintenance. No room should have bugs! We ended our stay early and went to another hotel.

Not my best choice for a stay

I initially checked in online the day before and was assigned to a room on the first floor. Upon arrival the digital key did not work so when I stopped at the desk I was told my room was not yet ready at 5pm. Once my room was ready I was placed in a room on the second floor. There was a room we passed on the way to the elevators that smelled like a rotting corpse. The breakfast was nothing like what was pictured on the hotels.com site. Grey/green sausage and no waffles. No coffee available when I went to the breakfast buffet. The hotel felt dirty and except for checkout the customer service was not friendly.

Horrible service

House keeping never showed up after we called the front desk and requested it. When I asked why no one showed up the response was they didn't know we needed housekeeping even though we called and spoke to the guy at the desk. Then the lady goes on to tell me they had 50 rooms checked out and nobody to clean them. I told them we needed our room cleaned and she said they usually don't clean rooms until after 4 nights. I said we need our room cleaned for the last time. Customer service is horrible and they just sitting around complaining instead of doing anything.

We booked a 2 bedroom suite for our in-laws to watch our baby while we attended a wedding. When calling the night before about an early check in the girl told me I needed to call back the next day so I did. When I called the next morning the woman told me that the 2 bedroom suites were “out of commission” and that we were going to be getting 2 rooms that were not connected to each other (she was very nice but we wish that the woman the night before had told us this so we could maybe make other arrangements.) Really this was our only options at this point so we had to make it work. However when we got to our room and opened the curtains for some natural light to, our bedroom windows and partially the living room area window were facing a wall maybe 2 feet from the window. So no natural light at all. The space was not great for the amount we paid but it got the job done for what we needed. Unfortunately we will probably not stay here again.

Not OK At All

First room I was assigned was passable, but the tub was backing up when I tried to take a shower and some hair started coming out. I asked if it could be snaked, and they said maintenance wasn’t there so they would switch my room. The second room was absolutely horrible. At that point it was quite late, so I just made it work for the one night that I was there. I won’t ever stay there again, though. In the second room, there was furniture pulled away from the wall, drawers left open, stained furniture, carpet peeling away, holes patched up but not completely fixed, a rusty shower head, cracked floor tiles, and, to top it off, the tub was backing up even worse than in the first room. The areas outside of the room also seemed dirty and poorly maintained. This place is not a 3-star hotel. If I’m being generous, it can be a 2.5-star hotel. And it definitely doesn’t deserve an 8/10 in the reviews.
