The pool staff were exceptional! The room was nice and quiet with a full balcony! Shopping and restaurants are walkable. The town is charming and people are kind! Breakfast was terrific, lots of options, fresh!! The one challenge we had was the man who checked us in. We wanted to book two more days and he didn’t try to look for a room. He also didn’t have time to answer questions about beach towels or the bikes advertised. Everyone else was wonderful!

I'll start with the positives. The staff where wonderful, breakfast buffet detightful, and the location brilliant. Now for the negetives. This facility does not offer the elegancy I've come to except from Waldorf. The decor is basic and very dated and we were missing some very basic thing in the room. There are no irons or steamers available in the hotel so forget your linens or anything that wrinkles. And no coffee in the room! You can get tea but bring your own coffee if you want a cup to wake up with. The stay was meant to be the opulent end to our honeymoon. Sadly it fell short in regards to the accomidations.

We stayed at the Waldorf Suite hotel from 19th Sept to 26th Sept. After doing hours of research, we picked this hotel because of the stunning pictures, particularly the amenities of the rooftop pool. The website said it had a heated pool, which was perfect for my mum who has arthritis, and cocktail bar. The rooftop area was closed. On our first day of arrival the pool was not clean, freezing cold and unusable. There was no cocktails or music. Every day after that the rooftop area was locked so we couldn't even use the sunbeds. We went down to the reception and they told us it was closed from September onwards for the end of the season. Their website mentions NOTHING about closure, we would not have booked if it did. I have been to hotels in European countries like Spain and Italy as late as November and their facilities have been open. There were many other guest like us who were annoyed at not having access to the pool. The rooftop area was also very dated and clearly decades old (not like the pictures). We were then forced to go to the beach for sunbeds and pay 6 euros per person per day to lie down which was a huge additional cost to our holiday. The hotel room also did not have a kettle, no way to stream Netflix on the TV and all the tv channels were in Italian. We would not go back.

⭐ 1/5 — Établissement à fuir Séjour catastrophique au Waldorf Suite Rimini. Dès notre arrivée, mauvaise surprise : 20 € par jour de parking, soit 140 € la semaine, alors que le parking était indiqué comme inclus lors de notre réservation. La chambre était dans un état inadmissible : toilettes sales avec traces d’excréments, chasse d’eau défectueuse et porte de douche qui ne fermait pas correctement. Le plus gros problème reste la climatisation, totalement aberrante. Impossible de régler correctement la température ou la ventilation : les réglages se réinitialisent automatiquement après quelques minutes. Nous étions obligés de descendre à chaque fois à la réception pour qu’ils règlent la climatisation depuis leur système. Nous avons eu environ 28 °C dans la chambre, ce qui était insupportable, notamment avec ma machine pour l’apnée du sommeil. Malgré plusieurs interventions, le problème n’a jamais été réellement résolu. Nous avons dû contacter Hotels.com à plusieurs reprises pour faire bouger l’hôtel et obtenir finalement un changement de chambre, plus petite et avec une salle de bain vieillissante. La piscine était également verte et trouble. On nous a d’abord dit que nous pouvions nous baigner, puis le lendemain, baignade interdite. Même après intervention, l’eau restait trouble. Le personnel de réception est très peu professionnel, désinvolte et totalement indifférent aux problèmes rencontrés. Nous avons eu l’impression qu’ils n’en avaient rien à faire de nos réclamations
