8/10 Very good

Clean room but corridors and room were a bit small for travelling with infant and 6yr old. Baby crib and stroller tight in the room. Excellent bed and good breakfast, not a bad location.

Nice staff, comfy bed, good shower. Convenient location. Free bottled water. Noisy HVAC system - came on multiple times during the night.

6/10 Good

Great location for getting around the main tourist sites but the area around the hotel seems to be one of the more rundown areas in Toronto so arriving after dark like we did not create a great first impression. Our room was in a dire need of renovation it looked old and tired and not what I expect from the Holiday Inn chain. The staff at reception and in the restaurant at breakfast were very good and partly made up for the state of the hotel.
