Simple But Does The Job

The place is a little run down, and wow, those credit-card door keys are a pain, but the staff treated me well, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the air conditioner worked great, and the shower was good. Breakfast was fine. And for the most part, the neighbors were quiet. Quality Inn isn’t fancy, but they nail the essentials and if you’re just looking for a place to sleep for a night or two, it does just fine without costing too much.

Nice Enough for the price.

Quick and friendly check in. Nice enough place to stay for a night or two. Inexpensive. Very convenient location to the K-Wings Ice Arena. Butlers Breakfast and Lunch is just down the street for good breakfast. The hotel continental breakfast was very limited. There is also a McDonald’s directly next door to the hotel.

By far the dirtiest and most horrible hotel I have ever booked through Expedia. I spent a total of 60 seconds In the room before I left and went and booked a room down the street. I have so many pictures to prove how dirty and how unprofessional this hotel is.

Water leak in my room in the middle of the night, smoke lard went off in another room which you could clearly hear as soon as you open the door.. attendant insisted on searching my room and accused me of doing something wrong! Do no t stay here HORRIBLE!!!!!!

It’s an older property. It was clean and quiet (even with a McDonalds right next door) and I felt safe alone there. When I saw the staff they were friendly. They could do a little better on the upkeep. Little things like the switch on the lamps between the beds was broken so I couldn’t use them. And the bathroom door knob lock didn’t work because the screws to the door knob wouldn’t stay in. With that said I would stay here again.

After staying the night with two rooms booked, we found bed bugs. Brought one of them down to the front office and they refused to do anything about it. The manager said that unless I called the health department, that he wouldn’t have to do anything about it. Very disgusted and disappointed with how they handled this situation. Never stay here!

Worst hotel we have ever visited

There were bugs on the bathroom floor. When we checked in, there were only a few sheets of toilet paper on the roll. We had to call down for more. The shampoo dispenser was empty and we had to call down for more when we checked in. The beds were very Soft and mushy. Most probably quite old. My wife woke up one morning with a few bites on her arm. We think these may have been bedbugs. The wall plugs in the room were in such bad condition that we had trouble keeping our cell phones charged because the receptacles wouldn't hold Properly. The first morning that we were there for breakfast, the waffle machine was out of batter so we couldn't have waffles. I asked the person at the front desk what was happening and he said that we would have some the next morning. The next morning, the entire waffle, machine and table that it was on was gone. The scrambled eggs that they served. We're dried out and hard. After the second night, we packed our bags and moved to the sleep in and suites. It was a much nicer place! We originally went to this place because it was close to the wings event center. Everything is pretty close in Kalamazoo and there is no reason why anyone should ever stay at this hotel.

Unbearable? No. Stay there again? Sorry but...no

Upon arrival you can see it was a VERY outdated establishment. We had to ask the front desk to change rooms or provide some compensation back within 10 minutes after checking in. The TV had lines through it, the jacuzzi had soap scum when testing the water, and the room had a very odd smell. I will say though the woman at the desk was very accommodating and polite, getting us a new room in less than 5 minutes. The 2nd room was definitely better. The furniture though...straight out of the 80's, maybe 90's. Old mismatched wood furniture. The pool was very clean however barely warm and a very outdated pool area, there were MAYBE 5 small towels for guest use. But again, clean! The last and most off putting thing is when you walk in the front door of the hotel...the stained furniture (photos attached) looked like something pulled from a storage unit from the 80's. Didn't want to, couldn't bring myself to sit in the "lobby". I'd be embarrassed to own, rent, etc this hotel with that as a first impression when someone walks in quite honestly., would I stay there again? Simply put, no. BUT it wasn't unbearable, especially being as cheap as it was...just wish it was cleaner and more up to date.
