Bed was extremely creaky. Anytime any of us moved slightly we would both wake up. We woke up so many times that by 3am we decided to push the King mattress onto the floor and sleep on that. We were then finally able to get some rest. Until one of us got up to use the bathroom. The bathroom door was also exceptionally loud (creaky). it takes a minute to oil the door hinges.

Stumbled across interesting hack?

The quietest stay I’ve ever had in 20+ years of going there. Prior weekend had 3 hockey leagues and a wedding. Next time i plan a trip there I’ll phone the front desk and see what groups are attending and I’ll work around it.

This place is a winner!

Staff at the hotel were wonderfully friendly and helpful during a multi-day stay. I always enter a new hotel with pretty basic expectations but the Comfort Inn was an unexpected delight. The room was quiet, spotless, the bed extremely comfortable and everything worked, from the plug charging my phone to the thermostat to the appliances. Many hotels seem to use dim lighting as a way to hide the scruffy bits. Not here! My room had multiple bright light sources which made work easier while showing off the well-maintained room. Located right by the 404, the Comfort Inn is my new go-to hotel when I’m staying in the North end of the greater Toronto area.
