Exceptional restaurant

Room was large and well equipped. Bathroom on the small side. We had two minor issues that were dealt with prompty by the staff. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and well priced as were the drinks.

Things around the hotel were a little rundown but overall very tidy
Garry, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

It is a very good and convenient place for exploring Kakadu, good breakfast, nice restaurants with quality meals and friendly staff…only downside is it is a bit expensive as there are not much competition!!!

Good Location & Pool

Room conditions were nice, Bed comfy, Buffet meal was good, Supermarket, Service Station, good location in Jabiru Kakadu for walks & attractions. Made use of Pool, clean & refreshing & open till 10pm. Got a late checkout, friendly service. 😊 Bit Expensive

Thank you

Great staff! Great location! Mentioned only in conversation that it was our 15yr anniversary! And after our dinner as a surprise the team had a little happy anniversary cake for us! Soooo nice 👌

10/10 Exceptional

Excellent as of 9/10 as for room, breakfast, dinner and very friendly staff as well, Just one point missing for perfect was that’s getting some noise from early morning birds…. Anyway I can recommend you all from family with kids to elderly couples.

Enjoyed

Best hotel in town, not many other options. Very little to do in the town, bit plenty to do in the area. Hotel restaurant is pretty good, not many other options in town.

For the location, the accommodation was very good. Buffet dinner was nice. Building the shape of a crocodile is very unique.

Kakadu trip for family

Overall it was a good and enjoyable stay. Some facilities seem a little rundown. As an iconic location I was expecting a bit more.
B, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Could do with a refurbished somewhat old now, but staff are friendly and keep environment clean.
Rosalie, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Accommodation very good and convenient to visits the attractions of Kakadu. Restaurant closing times however do not reflect the activities in the area. Eg to be accepting last dinner orders at 8:15 pm is too early when guests have been out viewing sunsets 45 mins drive from the resort.
Andrew, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

We had a great 2 night stay, yes it might be a bit tired in areas, but consider how remote this area is and it’s a very nice hotel. Rooms were clean, air cond and dehumidifier all working on arrival. Restaurant food was good, staff lovely and friendly. Stunning area to explore even with limits on what to do in wet season. Hotel pool a bonus and we could park right outside our room.
Nick, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Over-rated hotel with below average service and older style motel rooms - very dissapointing
Judy, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

We didn't stay here but Expedia won't let me NOT rate it. After hearing about the rampant crime in Katherine, we canceled this reservation.

French bar (men) staff were abrupt and not friendly. Room and complex a bit dated but overall a clean room. The guy on reception was lovely and friendly
John, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Reception service was excellent and though the rooms may look a little tired a dated in places they are clean and perfectly adequate. We encountered a problem with the kettle which shorted out the electrics in our room a couple of times but someone came quickly on each occasion to reset it. Otherwise everything was good.

The Croc’s Ok

The Croc is ok - staff very friendly and helpful. Condition is a little run down from the outside and the mattress was not of the standard of a modern hotel - room was clean. No coat hangers. Nice foyer at the hotel with beautiful art.
Elizabeth, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The staff were super friendly, helpful and lovely. Buffet dinner was delicious. Not your typical mass catered buffet, less selection but quality good food. Breakfast buffet could have done with an egg station, otherwise was good too. Room was comfortable, if not a bit dated. Bathrooms need a bit of an update/revamp. Decorative furnishings (pillows/bed throws) were stained and unpleasant. Overall a pleasant stay.
Ami, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Room was very dirty and smelly service of my room was not available every day , needs to have an update to the rooms . Meals were limited, and beware very expensive.$5.00 for 500mls of water
Tina, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

The reception area and staff were welcoming however that’s where it ends. The rooms were outdated and tired. Bathroom and entry areas have not been updated since the last time we visited over 10 years ago. No room service unless you stay for over 3 days. Fairly poor considering the amount of money you pay per room.
Maria, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

We had no running water in the room to shower, toilet or wash, or even make a coffee... the pool was out of action for cleaning so couldn't even have a swim and no compensation what so ever.... buyer beware
Christine, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

No good
faye, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

This hotel has seen MUCH better days and was not worth the money. The room was out-dated, with paint peeling off all doors, ring marks on bathroom sinks and lamp shades covered in grubby fingerprints (one lamp which was broken). The shower head was so calcified that water went every direction but down and the fridge sporadically kicked in loudly all throughout the night. The buffet restaurant was good ($50/head per adult) but didn’t offer a huge selection. The buffet breakfast (included in the $388 per night cost) was ok but all hot options had run out at 8:30am and so we had to wait 30 mins for it to be replenished. Honestly, next time I’d camp
Holly, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

We were disappointed with our stay. For the amount we paid, beds were not made. Bins were not emptied in our room - we stayed 3 nights and were overflowing by the end of our stay. Towels were dirty and not changed each day. Our dishes (2 cup were used) not cleaned, just turned upside down and put away again. Toilet paper was running on rations as not replaced and nobody in reception to assist. The fridge was tiny so we couldn't keep enough bottled water cold for the next day. Overall the room was dirty.. The pool was nice but we noticed some paper in the bottom which wasnt cleaned up the entire time.. The restuarant didnt cater to children when we were there. Only 3 of everything was provided when we booked and paid for 4 people.. overall very disappointing stay. I understand there isnt much competition in Jabiru but the amount they charge is ridiculous for what is provided.
Tracy, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

It was ok

Rooms are a great size. Such a bonus to be able to spread our suitcases out on the floor. The staff were very polite but i must admit not all of them looked very happy, it was hard to spot a smile, maybe it's because its the end of the session and done of them are a bit tired. The pool was lovely with pool towels supplied. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was superb, I'd definitely recommend this.
