Good sized and updated room. Beautiful shower and tub to soak with hot spring water. Convenient location-close to Yumoto train station and Main Street with many restaurants and shops. There is also a restaurant in the hotel. Highly recommend this property and would definitely return for another visit!

Such a nice getaway from the busy city life. The room was beautiful and clean and that private onsen was the best part! Definitely a memorable stay here. My wife and I are planning on staying here again and booking more nights.

Cosy, well designed room with great amenities. The bathroom had a small hot tub and the shower was great. The king bed was very comfortable. The location was pretty and an easy walk to the train station. We would come back.

8/10 Very good

This is a modern Japanese style simple hotel within easy walking distance of everything in Hakone-yumoto. Check-in was smooth and helpful. The room was well equipped and scrupulously clean although not huge it was big enough. The beds are low to the floor and the lighting subdued (as it is throughout the hotel) in the Japanese style, the shower was excellent. Staff were helpful. Would I stay here again - yes.

Wonderful small hotel, well located just outside the central area. Very spacious rooms, slick modern decor, lots of space to relax and store your things. Our room was on the top floor with a private rooftop onsen that was absolutely fantastic. The rooms don’t really have much in the way of windows or views, but the overall experience is marvelous. There is no food service in the hotel but there are many options nearby.

A beautiful traditional style (but modern) hotel close to the station at Yumoto in the heart of Hakone. Ideal base for exploring the mountains, spas and lakes around Mount Fuji.

Loved my 1-night stay here. Friendly and helpful staff. I was able to leave luggage before check-in and after checkout. The hot spring spa was excellent. I’d definitely stay again.

Perfect hotel for our stay in Hakone! The check in was easy and they not only held our bags until check in (5pm), but when we got back they had taken them to our rooms! They provide face masks, eye masks, facial products, and hair products free of charge. The bus stop is right across the street and the train station is a five minute walk. Our only complaint was lack of a breakfast option because everything around is closed in the morning until 11 am. Wasn’t a huge deal as we just hoarded fruit from 7/11 for the morning. We did not have the roof onsen option, but we were both able to fit in the shower onsen and did that every night.

Private rooftop onsen with modern ryokan-style room supported by AI-assisted controls for lights and air conditioner. Walkable to 7-Eleven nearby to buy drinks and snacks for onsen dipping. Conveniently located close to Hakone-Yumoto station to start the Hakone loop trip and/or return to Odawara station.

We had the best time here. The hotel room was spacious and clean and the private onsen was amazing each night after miles of walking and hiking. If we ever come back to Hakone we would definitely stay here. Perfect location. Easy walk from the train and the hotel held our luggage before checkin so we could explore a bit.
