The staff were very friendly and helpful. Under normal circumstances I would not pay $80 per night to stay here, but due to Tarleton Family weekend, there weren't any other options. The beds were ok, but if you are picky about your pillows, bring your own. The rooms were clean, but the hallways are incredibly hot and the carpets in the hall were stained and torn. Overall, the stay was just okay. I will be booking much earlier next year to hopefully get a different hotel.

No pool, no hot tub, snack machine was out of order, for an older motel the rooms were spacious and clean ive stayed there twice big comfortable beds, first room had a chair with an ottoman, second room had a very comfortable couch, I enjoyed my stay and will return there anytime im in Stephenville

Trash stacked by the back door, outdated rooms, paint peeling, smoke detector ripped from the wall, bed is super firm, and smelled like mildew, and front desk threw away medication instead of verifying if it was dangerous before tossing or not. When I called about it, the lady argued with me and told me she threw it away and hung up on me.

The price was great for one night. There are lists of spots on the carpet going through the hallways. Refrigerator was not cleaned out from last guest groceries. Electric out at sink in bathroom did not work. I have to be very frugal in my traveling so I am willing to put up with some issues. The mini split to cool the room was great. Could freeze you out, I had to turn it up. The vending machine was broken i guess. Was pretty empty and sign said not to try to Use. I slept fine, bed was comfortable and sheets were good. I did watch tv a little and the TV was a nice size. I know a lot of people who would never stay; but I am willing because I needed a room for one night and price was in my budget.

Staff was friendly. Building is very run down and in need of a major renovation. Security locks on the inside of the doors are needed. Inconvenient there’s no access from the outside doors to the room, despite the door and padlock. Feels very dark, gloomy, and unclean due to the lack of renovations.

well , it looked like someone had sat on one of the beds and i refused to sleep on it. woman at desk asked me if i mined changing the sheets because i did not want to move up stairs. so i did. you are to have ability to stay there till 11 but woman was there to clean room before 9 . so make sure you stick out you sign on door. The room was clean. . tv remote need to be replaced.. other than that it was okay.. I do think there should be some kind of heat in the bathroon on cool morning.

We were there on Feb.13th-16th. The guy at the front desk was nice and polite. The room that we had, had black mold in the bathroom and the sleeping room area. The towels also smelled like mold. There was no hot water to take showers. There was no hot water in the sink as well. There were small looking roaches in both areas (sleeping area and bathroom). The locking mechanism on the door from inside our room was missing and the door wouldn't shut properly. It totally stunk as soon as you walked into the bldg. The carpet was really filthy. The door on side of the bldg where you use your card to go inside to get to rooms didn't work. Anybody could just walk right in, that was scary. The outside had trash everywhere. Broken glass by the door where we had to enter to get to our rooms. We stayed here last year and it wasn't a bad experience. But this time it was really bad for us and for my friend that got rooms as well. We will not be back.

The place is very dated and needs some help. The pool is filled in. The building is falling apart and beside the fact they tried to update the rooms. The place had no comfort to it at all. The towels were brown and dinghy. The bed was super hard and the couch and lamps in the room both looked like they were from 1974, and not in a good way. Luckily we were there for a very short time as this is not somewhere you would want to stay longer than a day. The price was the only redeeming factor.
