Excellent breakfast and a lovely base for a couple of days exploring Conwy. Very convenient location for the castle, etc. The bells of the church nearby are audible, especially with the window open - would recommend using the air conditioning and/or making use of the supplied earplugs if that's likely to bother you.

Lovely place to stay. Very central if coming with the train and staff was really lovely. Big rooms, and very charming. There’s a lounge area where people tend to sit if several people staying there and did get a bit noisy in the evening as there’s no staff. Cleaning was lacking a bit, but was manageable

Excellent location for the centre of Conwy, always a joy to go there. Great to have the communal facilities and the room was lovely and bathroom too. Would be helpful to have a shelf in the shower. Some debris from the road in the entrance which could’ve been cleaned, but good facilities and very nice over all.

What a beautiful property so perfect in every aspect, breakfast at the Eskimo Arms Inn across the street was great. Location was amazing just park the car and everything including the castle is at your door step. Our only mistake was only booking one night!

Easy checking in at The Erskine Arms then given everything we needed to stay over at Y Capel. The room was beautiful, right down to the standing fan (which we were very grateful for in the heat) and incredible shower. The staff were all lovely and the breakfast was delicious. Lovely guest house in an old chapel, with lots of old church furniture and traditional Welsh pieces, very well restored and still has lots of character. We had a room with a balcony, with a beautiful view over the churchyard and castle, room was comfy, but could be a little loud. The church bells didn’t bother us, but the whirring of air con units and people passing by made it a bit noisy. Lovely breakfast in The Erskine and parking included, made for a very enjoyable stay, would definitely stay again.

This place was wonderful. The rooms are spacious and clean with lots of thoughtful amenities. It is a stones throw from the train station and close to the castle and the smallest house in Britain and the waterfront. We ate lunch in their pub upon arrival and tried the Italian restaurant up the street for dinner. Their breakfast was included and made to order. You should definitely stay here. They let us store our luggage because we arrived at noon and checkin was at 3 pm.

Love staying at the Y Capel, this time I had a lovely clean, bright room in the main part of the Chapel, nicely presented and very comfortable. We had an excellent dinner in the pub that evening. The food is well cooked and of a good quality abd there is a good choice of menu. The staff are really lovely, friendly and knowledgeable. Its a real plus that this place also has a small carpark, a raritybin Conwy.

My stay at Y chapel was perfect in every way! The accommodations are actually in a previous chapel! I had floor to ceiling windows and a window above the bed. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. The food at the restaurant was excellent and what makes everything perfect is the staff! And manager there was extraordinary and I give it a 10 star! Karen.

Unique location, nice view out on a balcony facing the church. Bed was very comfortable, staff are very friendly and helpful. From the Y Capel it's a short walk to the Erskine Arms Hotel for check-in, breakfast, the bar. Easy access to downtown activities in Conwy. Even when the castle is closed (due to filming of some made- for- TV dweeb series) you can still walk around a bit and enjoy the view. Nice sitting area in Y Capel which we did not use. And, the train station is very close to walk to as well as the picturesque city wall. I'd sleep there, if I were you. (Not on the city wall, in the Hotel, unless that's your thing).
