Opened in 1914, Hotel Leopold maintains its old-world charm. I loved its atmosphere, its host and staff, and its amazing breakfast! It also has a great internet connection.

A most charming hotel in a perfectly located Jugend-style building. Very helpful & friendly staff and a superb breakfast w home-made bread, soft/runny boiled eggs etc. Also ask for a really good place to dine nearby (you get 10% as guest of Leopold).. Thank you!

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Léopold. The check in instructions were very clean and easy to follow. It is a charming hotel in an old building with matching decor. The room was clean, bed comfortable, quiet night. Coffee tea and fruits available on the salon and a hearty breakfast at the konditorei. I would have stayed longer if I didn’t have to drive the next day.

Marie and Ingvar are wonderful hosts, helped us with transportation issues and were very kind. Their hotel is “old world” charming, with good natural light to brighten up the cozy common areas. We especially enjoyed meeting other travelers during breakfast and at the end of the day having tea or coffee in the spacious sitting room. Close to restaurants and historic sites. Highly recommend.

Det var ett fantastiskt fint hotell, rent, sköna sängar. Frukost på Swedenmarks var jättebra! Inget att klaga på. Vi saknade däremot fler galgar, fanns bara 2, saknade även ett skohorn modell längre.

Sängarna var inte bra. Ett slitet rum, lite sunkig toalett. Hotellets hemsida lovade en fantastisk frukostupplevelse i en unik gammaldags miljö, icke så, nu får man en väldigt enkel frukost på ett cafe på andra sida gatan.

Utmerket Godt overnattingssted. Gammelt Flott bygg med samarbeid med Emma og evt flere. Frokost ved Konditori like i nærheten Veldig koseligt med to dagligstue en med lesestoff og andre med utstyr for egen oppvarming av medbringt mat. Kaffemaskin/ Frukt/Kaker/ Kjeks/ godis.

Veldig hyggelig, sjarmerende og stilrent boutique hotel midt i gamlebyen og kort vei til shopping, restauranter og uteserveringer. Hotellrommet var utstyrt med ørepropper som ble brukt for å sove med åpent vindu. Veldig gode kvalitetsputer og dyner. Sjarmerende fellesområder. Anbefales!

Jag gillade boendet, det var mysigt och behagligt. Gillade inredningen och speciellt loungen där man kunde plocka kaffe, te och frukt gratis. Toaletten låter jättemycket när man spolar och varmvattnet tar ett tag att värma upp därför att det är ett gammalt hus med gamla rör, och det är väl enda nackdelen. Det finns mycket ljud från gatan men de har lagt öronproppar på rummet så det löste problemet perfekt för mig, och jag är ljudkänslig. In- och utcheckning gör man själv, ingen receptionist på plats men man kan ha kontakt om man behöver. De förberedde en frukostpåse till mig eftersom jag meddelade att jag kanske inte skulle hunnit med mitt tåg annars. Rummet var stort och rymligt, det fanns ett slags burspråk vid fönstret med trevlig utsikt över centrum. Rekommenderar hotellet till 100%.

Jättemysigt sekelskiftshotell mitt på Östersunds gågata. Obemannad reception, men hör till hotellet på andra sidan gatan om man behöver hjälp med något. Mysig salong att sitta i där det finns dryck, kaka, frukt och även glas om man behöver För resenärer med rullstol så hotels.com felaktigt angett att det är tillgänglighetsanpassat. Om man kan belasta på benen och har en manuell aktiv rullstol kan det fungera ändå. Hissen rymmer precis en normalstor aktiv stol, ytterdörren är tung men gick att få upp. Det finns högre trösklar från sekelskiftet i hotellet och rummet. Vårt hotellrum hade ett litet badrum där man behövde kunna förflytta sig till toalett stol genom att kunna stå eller ha med förflyttningspall. Rum och salong hade gått om utrymme för rullstol. Frukost äts på konditoriet på andra sidan gatan, otroligt gott! Ett trappsteg finns in dit men de har en portabel ramp innanför dörren så det funkar med manuell rullstol.
