4/10 Fair

I recently stayed at the Fairfield and was quite disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the hotel. The sheets were dirty, and it was clear the floor hadn’t been vacuumed before our arrival. There was an overwhelming fragrance throughout the room, seemingly used to cover up unpleasant odors, but it only made the stay uncomfortable, especially for someone sensitive to allergens. On a positive note, the staff was friendly, apologetic, and helpful when I brought these issues to their attention. Unfortunately, their responsiveness could not make up for the poor condition of the room itself. Overall, I would not recommend this Fairfield location due to the cleanliness concerns, despite the kind staff.

The hotel is getting a bit “tired”. A redo should be in the near future. It was clean and comfortable and the service was excellent. The staff made accommodations for our funeral group to play cards in the lobby area and were terrific.
