We just needed a place to stay that was inexpensive and not on the street. The guy who checked us in was really friendly, that was a plus. Another plus is that they have showers at this hotel instead of bath tubs. They also have outlets in the wall so that you don't have to bend over to plug anything in. That's really nice. The cons are typical - if you are looking for "pretty," this ain't it. This place served us in the way that we needed at the time. We had a bit of an emergency and it was perfect for that. Oh, and no breakfast, you'll have to get your own. It was fine in this case since we checked out too early for that anyway. This hotel is great for a quick place to stay. If you are not picky about appearances then this will be all right for you too.

The room was not clean when we checked in. They did come and clean, but it needs a deep clean. Baseboards and window sills have not been wiped in a very long time. I used Clorox wipes and wiped everything down. The bed was comfortable and it was a quiet night for sleeping.

We checked in with high hopes after a long beach day. Upon walking into the room with two little kids, I could immediately tell it was not clean enough to stay. Blood stains on bedding, shower was filthy, snot on bathroom wall, no smoke detectors, missing lamp shades, broken door lock, smelled horrible etc. The staff was extremely polite, kind, and accommodating to give me an immediate refund. I would absolutely not go off photos shown, wouldn’t recommend.

Staff were helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable and clean. It was quiet of street noice. The facility is old and very worn, some rotting boards around the base of building in places. There was no working smoke detector in our room, and the ground floor window did not lock. Wall lamp shades were broken. If I was a woman traveling alone, I would not stay here, I would not feel safe on the property. The surrounding neighborhood felt safe enough, but the property just felt sketchy.

Well, you certainly get what you pay for. I was very grateful that the AC worked, that being said the room sticky, roaches everywhere, bedside lamps hanging off the wall, ceiling falling down patchwork on the walls Telephone didn't work as far as watching TV, if you didn't mind watching game shows or religious channels everything else was in Spanish, unfortunately I don't speak Spanish. Good news, at least as far as I can see, it didn't have bedbugs! Although because I had seen roaches, I did not sleep well at all I'm up at the crack of dawn ready to get in my car so I can go have coffee and get a little rest before I get back on the road.

The lady at the desk was very nice and very kind. The first room we were placed in was visibly very old and the air conditioner would not come on. We went back to the lobby to see if perhaps we were not turning it on properly and she took the time to come up to the room to check it out. It was indeed broken, so she returned to the lobby to find us another room. She came back with a couple so we went to the second room to check it. No electricity! She took us to a third room, which appeared to be in either a newer area of construction or recent renovation. It was completely clean and the ac worked. I appreciated her staying with us until the matter was resolved. We did not have to make multiple trips to the lobby and at 10 pm with two kids that was important!

As I was waiting for the desk clerk to finish the check-in process, I noticed on the wall a health inspection results notice that gave the facility a 71.9 rating. I pondered for a short time what could possible be the reason for a low grade in an establishment that did not serve food (no continental breakfast here) and no beverage amenities in the room. Well, upon entering my assigned room, it became obvious why that rating had been given. Sitting in the middle of the room on the floor was my welcoming party - a big roach. Good points - air conditioner and TV worked properly. Debatable points - shower had a rain attachment but the water pressure is not sufficient to make it rain - more like a light sprinkle. Negative points - no amenities that one would normally associate with temporary lodging nowadays. No coffee maker in the room. No breakfast offering of any kind. Full disclosure - I was travelling alone and looking for a simple inexpensive place to sleep, shower & shave for an overnight stay. This facility met the simple & inexpensive criteria but I would not recommend it to anyone. Plenty of other options available close by.

I did not feel safe! The rooms are so close to each other that when someone was opening their door to get in their room it sounds like they were trying to get into yours. The bed was very uncomfortable my back was hurting the whole weekend I was there. The outlets were very messed up my charger was falling out of the wall and therefore I wasn’t really able to charge my phone the way I wanted to this weekend
