Exceptional motel in tiny town

Very nice overnight stay. The extra-large fridge, the night light in the bathroom, the multiple outlets, and the super comfortable beds made this an exceptional stay.

Front desk was mostly absent. Had to ring a bell but the person was polite and helpful. Room locations were not good. Overall will not stay again.

Checking went without any issues, Staff was nice. The room was satisfactory, clean and ready. nice to have a mini fridge for leftovers from dinner, but unfortunately the microwave did not work. Thankfully the AC worked. We checked in late and only stayed for one night, so it was fine. We didn't even turn on the TV to see if it worked LOL, (too tired). I was looking forward to the swimming pool, but it was closed. By the looks of it it has seen better days. Breakfast was good, but ran out of Orange Juice and no Apple Juice and I could not locate staff. I think the hotel was short staffed due to the State T&F Championship at Eastern Univ. which we came from. overall our stay was good.

I had booked there because they had an outdoor pool. I was disappointed to find out it was CLOSED. Also we ate breakfast at 9 a.m. and there was no fresh coffee left there or made. Other than those things, our stay was comfortable.

The beautiful pool in the pictures doesnt exist. The hotel was fine. Clean. Breakfast could be better but honestly, Im tired of paying for hotels that show nice pools then theyre not there or dont work after you pay.

Front desk clerk was able to adjust my reservation, when I had entered incorrectly on-line. Kudo to him. Room was clean , bathroom could use some maintenance. Overall everything was good, But, Went to breakfast and most everything was gone. One piece of bread. some cookies. There was cereal and yogurt available.

Quality Inn Arcola

Seemed like a nice but older hotel. Check in was quick and easy. Room was ok. Floor had older carpet that needs a good cleaning. Turned my white socks brown, so I didnt take my shoes off except to go to bed. Bed was ok and the sheets were clean. Two complaints about the bathroom. First the toilet was loose and it moved when you sat on it. Second, the bathtub had good water pressure. However, when you pulled the faucet lever for the shower only about half the water came out the shower. The faucet leaked a lot of water during shower. Breakfast was good and check out was easy.
