8/10 Very good

Had a 3 night stay , room and bathroom was ok but does need an update and good clean . Looked out to the road which seems there is no soundproofing so quite noisy from traffic , even could hear the people from next door and above. The breakfast was ok nothing special . Location was good as walking to everything.

We actually had two rooms - unexpectedly but wonderfully. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate the restaurant off the lobby and the food was wonderful - we couldn’t finish our plates!

The service was great but the weather was very hot, and the air conditioning was not working. But at least they gave us a fan.

Bike access was an excellent perk. The front staff had great manners and helped when needed.

Staff members were pleasant and very helpful, air conditioning was broken they assisted in moving our room which was a relief from the heat after a 15 hour plane flight. Stayed at hotel for 3 nights prior to our cruise departure. Hotel is well located to main attraction sites in Barcelona, with plenty of resturants close to hotel.

Stayed one night for the next day cruise. Perfect location for the purpose. Suggestion to cruisers: walk to the port or else you are going miss your cruise because of the terrible traffic unless you give yourself plenty of time ahead.

Staff were excellent. Have stayed at this hotel before and some of the reasons for staying here is the location and the breakfast to start the day. The breakfast this time was disappointing, the bacon was well undercooked and was covered in fat the eggs also covered in fat, the toaster took ages to toast bread. Fruit and pastry selection was good.

The hotel in a really good location which is useful, but the terrible air conditioning makes it hard to sleep.

Booked this stay 7 months in advance and requested as quiet a room as possible, was given a 1st floor room facing the main road and next to a club entrance - needless to say it was noisy as hell. Booked a double room and was given a twin, and the matresses were extemely firm to say the least. Air conditioning unit was massively noisy and very ineffectual. Bathroom only had 1 bulb working out of 3 and no window, it was like getting ready in a darkened cave. Cups provided were glass with no proper handle so you couldn't actually hold them when they had a hot drink in, no spoon only a thin wooden stirrer. Positives - location was good, very close to a metro stop; room was spacious; nice to have a mini fridge; kettle was very clean. Wouldn't stay here again as I got virtually no sleep due to the noise.

Advertisement: Average expectations - Room description in Hotel.com was not accurate, based on the pictures shown mislead you to believe you will be getting a newer, nicer and more spacious room, reality is not even close. Location: Average expectations - easy access to nearby transportation. semi Safe area, Cleanliness: Average expectations - Some areas could have been better maintained. Room clean Room Comfort: Average expectations - Was reasonably comfortable, we were updated to a triple bed Staff & Service: Above expectations – They were polite, friendly and helpful . Amenities: Average expectations - Basic Value: Average expectations - We did feel the hotel provided fare value for the money we paid. Breakfast: We left early, we didn't have a chance to experience breakfast, we believe it was not offered and or included as part of the price paid. Atmosphere: Average expectations - Was somewhat ordinary and lacked the welcoming feeling we expected. Overall: Average expectations - we were satisfied with our stay and would probably not choose to stay here again. Recommendation: Based on our experience, we might recommend this hotel / unless improvements are made.
