8/10 Very good

Helpful staff, good location, but: . Old hotel in need of refurbishing . Dating room and much smaller than expected . Breakfast buffet just OK for a Shangri-La ; far from the choice & quality found at the Shangri-La Guangzhou . Nice to have an outdoor swimming-pool downtown Luohu district

Swimming pool was not open, but everything else was very good. We were clean, newly renovated. Of course the lobby is very nice. Conveniently located across the Lo Wo shopping center. Great massage place in the hotel you definitely should try although they don’t speak much English in the massage place.
