I recently stayed here and while the location and overall service were decent, I was disappointed with the bathroom facilities. The bathroom is extremely small, making it very uncomfortable to move around. It felt cramped and impractical, which negatively impacted my stay. For the price, I expected a more functional and spacious setup. This is something the management should seriously consider improving.

Decent place to stay

Check in was friendly although one of the receptionists didn't speak very clearly which was challenging as my French is passable but far from fluent. The room was a decent size but the toilet/bathroom was small without a door- just a curtain. We intended to go out for an evening meal but as we were about to leave there was a very, very heavy downpour of rain. Reception saw is and offered us the loan of an umbrella which was really nice of them but we decided we didn't want to go out in the rain so we had a snack in the restaurant. The waiter was very friendly, efficient and helpful. We were tied after a long drive so were quite happy to stay in really but a cheerful waiter was really welcome. We went into the city centre the following morning and the hotel is really well situated for the central Square of Montpellier (Place de la Comedie). Finding the hotel when digging into Montpellier was a nightmare though because of road closures and the one way system and this would put me off returning unless traveling by train. Be warned if driving though that you need an emissions certificate from the City authorities which you need to have planned before you start your journey. You can't register online and be covered as you need to allow time for the physical certificate to arrive. If traveling from another country, this could take days off even weeks and you're liable for a €68 fine if you're spotted.

Personnel sympathique Excellent petit déjeuner (une seconde machine à café serait appréciable) Chambre particulière, salle de bain directement dans la chambre, pas de porte, juste un rideau, enfin nous n’avions que la tringle, même pas de rideau. Donc vu direct sur la fenêtre… et pas de joint sous la porte de la douche, donc ça fait vite piscine.

Chambre un peu exigu, les toilettes se ferment " avec un rideau donnant sur la chambre. Pratiquement pas de rangement pour les vêtements. Le toilette goûtait toute la nuit... Petit déjeuner correct, pas de yaourts notamment. Accueil agréable. Pour une nuit, ca suffit.

Es waren Flecken am Vorhang und im BZ. Das BZ ist extrem klein und es gab keine moderne Klimaanlage (selbst im April war das Zimmer nachts extrem heiß. Eine Lampe hat nicht funktioniert und wurde in den 5 Tagen meines Aufenthaltes nicht repariert. Kaum Ablage für Kleider. Das Personal war sehr nett und die Lage ist sehr gut
