Great building, poor service

It has a lovely sitting area under cover, but in the fresh air. So the bar is very good. The location is ok, a couple of minutes drive from a Mall. Room was ok, certainly large. But they did some really basic things poorly. No receptionist and he was really not bothered. I think i saw him on reception once out of 20 times i went past. There was no soap, 1 small towel between 2, not shown round facilities, just to the room, no water in the room, Cleaner didnt knock when coming in, security guard unhelpful. All such tiny things, but so easy to get right. They have a nice building, so looks great in the photos. But i had better service in an unmanned air bnb.

The overall the hotel is average, poor room service, no many options of food, the mosquito net slightly tested, the towel was dirty , if you ask something or order a food or hot beverages it will take close to 2 hours, on 17 Nov. One of their waiter overcharged a meal and i realised later on the calculation was wrong, i won't go back there, it's a casual place with poor service, no hotel mpesa account or till number

This worked for us as we had a late flight and it was affordable. However, we spent more for the shuttle than the hotel and nothing was open when we woke to have breakfast etc and the area was “not recommended to walk around” from the shuttle driver. There were killed bug smears all over the walls and we didn’t feel safe as the windows were all broken and easy to get. The hot shower, not coffee, no shampoo stuff is all aside and we’re not the biggest issues. For the first night in Nairobi I would recommend a better solution closer and safer.

Jag kom kl 06 på morgonen, men vakten vid grinden öppnade och fixade min nyckel till rummet, trots att receptionen var stängd. Rummet var rent, en dubbelsäng, garderob, ett skrivbord och stol, till och med myggnät i taket fanns. Badrummet var också mycket rent, kakel överallt. Handfat, toastol och en stor dusch.Många eluttag och stark signal på WiFi även på rummet. Finns en mysig restaurang med både lokal god mat och kinesisk mat, som var bättre än i Sverige. De har även en event-avdelning i den stora trädgården, så jag fick uppleva lite olika examensfester och två olika bröllop här. Helt otroligt. Personalen är fantastiska, så hjälpsamma med allt. Ja, alla människor jag mött här i Nairobi har varit snälla, hjälpsamma och de tycker det är trevligt att prata. I detta område är det helt säkert att till och med gå ut ensam på natten. Ligger en polisstation i kvarteret så det gör att det är alltid lugn här. Kan rekommendera detta ställe varmt till alla, framför allt om man vill se lite av det äkta lokala livet och staden. Superbilligt att åka med Bolt överallt. En 15-20 minuters resa kostar från 20 kronor!!!!! Så ge gärna lite dricks. // Stefan

Absolutely terrible. My room was not allocated when I arrived. They couldn't even tell that I had booked two rooms. When I got in, the bed had not been changed from previuos customer's use. The room had mould,big opening in the ceilling( broken)and was leaking, dusty and very dirty. Allocating a room in that state at any cost shows total negligence poor customer care. The staff attitude was unfriendly and lacked hospitality knowledge. They even got my restaurant bill wrong.I will never stay here again
