The Oratio is in a wonderful location in Saint-Germain, within walking distance to restaurants, charming bakeries, the metro, the Latin Quarter, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and more. We stayed 3 nights in a balcony room and really enjoyed having coffee outside in the mornings with the sunshine. After our tour, we also stayed 2 nights in a superior room. Both rooms were cozy and comfortable. The front desk staff was wonderful — always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. There is also a complimentary 24/7 coffee and tea station with several selections available, which was a nice touch. One thing to note during our May stay was that the air conditioning was not available. We later learned you can request a fan for better air circulation if you prefer not to keep the window or balcony door open because of some street noise. “We loved our stay at The Oratio and would happily stay there again for the wonderful location and exceptional staff.”

A wonderful stay and the perfect first stop in Paris. The view from the balcony of the church was a beautiful bonus, and the location is unbeatable—just steps from Notre-Dame, Pantheon, Luxembourg Garden and close to the Louvre. Complimentary coffee and water were such a thoughtful touch and truly appreciated. The staff were exceptionally friendly, kind, and helpful. A special thank you to Adam at the front desk, who was absolutely phenomenal and graciously helped me with my three pieces of luggage.
