Nice, comfortable stay. If you buy the breakfast in advance it's a bargain. You're allowed one "menu" breakfast (full English/ pancakes/ porridge /scrambled eggs on toast/etc) which is cooked to order plus unlimited from the buffet (cereal, yoghurt, pastries, fruit, toast, ham, cheese, etc) which is a good balance between generosity and waste reduction.
Beds were comfy enough. It was very hot the weekend we were there, but a fan was provided and the cold water was able to get very cold which was a relief. Rooms have a kettle but no fridge.
Staff were always very helpful and kind. We were able to keep all our bags there all day after checking out for just £5 for the whole lot which I thought was very reasonable. We also turned up at 10pm the day we were supposed to leave needing another night's stay because the trains had all gone wrong. Needless to say we were exhausted and stressed but the staff member on the desk was incredibly helpful.
Because of the extra day, we tried both the standard double and the standard twin rooms - both very pleasant. It's also a very reasonable price for the location - just a 10-15 minute walk to Piccadilly station and similar or even less to Sackville Gardens where our event was. I would absolutely stay here again and hope to next year.
