The owner was my guardian angel and I'm so grateful for him! !! I got left in Lake Placid during a bus trip to Niagaa Falls and I ended up in the ER for 12 hours. I ended up being stuck in town with no ride and the only bus route for the weekend wouldve been a 20 hour ride for 4 hrs of distance. I had no money until I got paid the following day. He gave me the room until my check hit the bank which was so kind of him!! Most people wouldn't have hltthe chance

This is a very low end place to stay, however, I do not think that is a bad thing, it depends on your purpose. Me and a couple of friends were going on a hike, and this motel style Inn was perfect. I had my car directly next to the room that I was staying at for easy access to all my things. If you wanna stay at a good quality hotel for its amenities, do not come here. If you want convenience at a cheap price, this is the best place to be.
