Overnight Stop on a Bike Tour

Incredibly nice hotel for a good price. Able to book last minute and the staff was lovely when I arrived near midnight. The bicycle storage in the basement is one of the nicest features I’ve ever seen. Breakfast was excellent and the room was comfy and clean. Hope to visit Wismar again soon and will definitely book here when I do

All good so far, the view on the 7th floor was super nice. One thing I will say that needs to be changed urgently. The beds that you stand as a 3rd and 4th person in a room, so the extendable sofas are really uncomfortable. They should not be placed anywhere and certainly not in a hotel. You sleep better on an inflated camping mattress. I say this not to hurt anyone but so that no one is hurt ;-). I'm really not a raisin picking person, but it must be changed otherwise we as a family would no longer check in only for this reason.

A nice place to stay: nice rooms and a super breakfast, but unless you are prepared to pay £70/night to park your car in their underground parking you could have quite a walk back to the hotel (like we did). We hit it lucky, though, because even though we had quite a walk we only had to pay for an hour’s parking as it was 3pm Friday afternoon and after four it’s free until Monday morning. The other disappointment was the horrific stains on the carpets in some of the corridors. The carpets really do need replacing. Apart from that, great.

Room size was perfect. But there lifts were not working so we have to take stairs for 3rd floor with small kids. Service was ok. But there is no service need to be use as noting is working. No internet on room - no lift. And there is parking front of hotel but you have to pay by urself

Incredibly polite staff. Room was spacious and comfortable, with a big window and a pretty view. Breakfast was delicious, and I believe the choice was big enough to cater to everyone’s preferences. Convenient location, very close to everything, especially water (huge pro!).

Hervorragende Lage zur Ostsee und zur Altstadt. Leckeres abwechslungsreiches Frühstück. Nettes freundliches Personal am Counter, an der Bar und beim Abendessen. Tiefgarage recht teuer aber genügend billigere Parkplätze gleich vor dem Haus. Zimmer sehr geräumig aber mit völlig abgeranzten Möbeln und Teppichen. Das geht bei diesen Preisen überhaupt nicht.

Tolle Zimmergröße. Ausreichend Platz. Ausstattung z.T. nicht mehr in Ordnung. Die Schlafcouch für die Kinder war schon sehr runter. Für ältere Kinder würde ich es nicht mehr buchen. Selbst mein 8 jähriges Kind hat die Federn/Lattung gemerkt. Der Teppich ist sehr dreckig und abgelebt. Es gibt keinen Wasserkocher oder kleinen Kaffeekocher. Wir waren im Winter dort bei -8°C. Die Heizkörper haben es nichr geschafft, das Zimmer hochzuheizen. Auf Nachfragen bekamen wir 2 weiter Winterzudecken (vorher: 2 dünne Decken für die Kinder - ärgerlich). Das sehr gute Frühstück hat 5/5 Stern verdient. Es war alles da und es war reichhaltig. Das renovierungsbedürftige Hotel sollte mal aufgehübscht werden. Denn insgesamt ist die Lage hervorragend!
