Pierre covers all the bases with their first house. Beautiful rooms with clean white linens, welcoming you as soon as you arrive,, with great advice about the area,lovely pool, bicycles to ride around the island.... And saved the best for last comment... Breakfast!!! Is incredible

A little gem in Knysna! Right when you enter, a delightful vanilla smell enters your nose, and you know you’re in for a treat. Waffles are their breakfast specialty, and these are the greatest waffles we’ve ever had. So fluffy, crispy and yummy! We had the family room, a very nicely sized bedroom with living area, full bathroom with bath and separate shower, plus a separate toilet in a small room on the other side of the bed. Everything was sparkly clean and well maintained. We had a balcony overlooking the pool, where we spent time reading a book and discussing with a good bottle of wine, which can be bought from the kitchen area of the guest house (along with other non-alcoholic beverages). In the morning, the staff had prepared tables for all the guests specifically. It started with a buffet of fresh bread, cheeses, yogurt and homemade granola, with a jar of Belle Maman jam. Then, the staff could make some eggs and bacon to order. Finally, a plate of these wonderful waffles - good as-is without any toppings - concluded this wonderful moment. The host was very knowledgeable about the city and helped us plan our activities in the area. Him, his wife and dogs live in a separate part of the same building and are available daily. They were so nice! And our kids loved the dogs :) We were sad to leave and would have gladly extended our trip if we could.
