My wife and I had to make a quick 24 hour trip to Houston for an important appointment & quickly return home. We hadn’t eaten anything before checking in so we quickly checked in & went up to the room to drop our stuff off and head out for some food. Thankfully we placed all of our belongings on the coffee table! When we arrived back a few hours later that night, we inspected the bed & room, found mouse droppings between the mattress and box spring. We immediately searched the rest of the room and bathroom, discovered multiple droppings all of the room and torn carpet near the walls, furniture stained & damages. In the bathroom there were roach sticky pads & two roaches crawling on the wall. The room was overwhelming sprayed with room spray and there is a very large chance it is the reason why my wife is now sick. Our TV was not working so we asked staff to help which they did promptly but stated that they did not have a “cleaner” room to move us to. We tried to sleep after in depth inspection only to find out quickly that the bed is not comfortable and actually comes to a V shape in the center. Worse sleep of our entire lives. We woke up & checked out very early after taking video and photo evidence. I rated this 2 stars only because the breakfast staff was wonderful when it came to advising of allergies (which is rare in most of our stays). The front desk girl while she couldn’t move us to a cleaner room, she did help with the TV and was not rude to us when we complained.

Beds were nice and clean and breakfast was good but elevators need attention and it was not a warm and welcoming environment. Check on was quick and easy but receptionist was not cheerful and she was very quiet. There were lots of sketchy people and activities in the lobby and parking lot at night but room was quiet and no interruptions during two day stay.

Cleanliness was fine for what you pay for but found a hair in the shower when we first checked in, saw someone’s bobby pins on the carpet by the bed and toenail clippings by the wall. Also a questionable mark on the wall of possibly a bug? The guy at check in said maybe 10 words and basically none at check out. The breakfast was not that good and none of us liked the eggs. But it was the cheapest option so you get what you pay for. On the plus side there’s a few cheap and quick restaurants nearby.

The room had a slight smell. I did kill a small roach in the bathroom and there was a lady bug in my room. The 1st night, was hard to sleep. The TV kept turning on by itself and the TV remote did not work. The 2nd Day, my room was not cleaned. There was daily breakfast that was good. and the room was made up nice otherwise

Bed sheets seemed clean. The check in lady was pretty quiet, we asked for directions several times, and could barely hear her. We got to the room and we were met face to face with a roach on the inside of the door as we went to close it. As we walked in there was poop wiped on the wall by the big mirror and another roach on the wall by the window. We didn’t even try the breakfast because the cleanliness of the room made us feel the kitchen would be just as bad.

I wasn't informed before booking the I would also have to pay a $50 deposit. I booked through Expedia, so I don't fault the hotel, it just would've been nice to know before booking. Staff was super nice and extremely helpful. The hotel is clearly old and needs some deep cleaning and remodeling.

For the price, it was good breakfast was fine. The only problem I had was for some odd reason the TV and the Internet did something weird where I could not watch TV. It would not go off the main channel of the Preview channel. Basically I couldn’t change anything.

Front desk staff not providing any information about elevator/food times. Seemed to be unhappy. Parking lot and elevators made the hotel look run down but the room was fine. Bed was comfortable and room temperature was good. Breakfast food was cold but coffee was good.

The price was decent and there were no bugs. AC worked good. But the room smelled of pee and there were half-naked teenagers running around in the middle of the night outside (that were staying at the motel) and a guy sleeping by the front door with a bottle of liquor by him
