I booked this room for concert stay. When I first arrived and saw it was an “extended stay”, I could visually tell this was going to be an experience. First thing, the desk clerk informed me he wasn’t sure if my room had been cleaned or not, even though it was after my check-in time. He didn’t seem very pleased when I asked him if he could find out. After about 10 minutes he returned and we stumbled through a very odd check-in. There was a couple in the lobby that there seemed to be a disagreement with, and it turned out to be one of the housekeepers.
I get to my room and I am instantly not impressed. But I am retired military, so I have had worse accommodations. I was already running late, so I just showered and headed out to my event. Afterwards I get back and decide to kick back before I got ready for bed. That is where the biggest problem arose. The sheets were disgusting, they were stained, smelled, had body hair all over them, and the comforter was ripped and just as dirty. That was when I made the decision to go ahead and check out. I would rather drive 3 1/2 hours home in the middle of the night, than sleep in that bed.
Along with everything else, the floors looked like they hadn’t been swept or mopped in quite a while. The ceiling was moldy and falling in one spot from what appeared to be a leak. The furniture looks like it came from an 80’s garage sale. All in all, I would not recommend staying here unless you are completely desperate.
