Nice hotel, close to the beach

The condo was very spacious, plenty of room for our party of 5. Very close to the beach which was great. There is a restaurant at the hotel and the food was very good. However, any other restaurants were about a 20 minute walk. We ate at some places at Atlantis which were great but very expensive! Our condo was in much need of updating/renovating/repairs. It was pretty dated and there were things that needed fixed. Also, when I booked the room, I paid extra for the "ocean view." I was very disappointed when I found out that the ocean view was just a small view from the master bedroom. The view from the rest of the condo just looked out onto other condos. All in all it was a great trip, the beach was gorgeous, not too crowded. We rented jet skis from the guys on the beach which was a blast. There is some great snorkeling if you walk to the right on the beach and go down to the little lagoon there. We brought our own gear, there isn't anywhere to rent it.

Laid back condos on the beach.

A perfect spot for a quiet vacation. The beach was beautiful and the staff was great. It’s a long walk to the bridge and the shoppping by Atlantis so keep that in mind. Also, look up Sandra’s taxi for your transportation needs. Awesome family run business.

2/10 Poor

Bahamian Fawlty Towers !

This place is not a 3 star resort far from it and the fact that Expedia use a third party invisible contact company called "RED AWNING" to deal with your reservation is not good. CONS: Location is isolated and you have to pass through an industrial estate to reach it. Taxis cost between $ 9 & $ 18 each way to Atlantis village (a must if you want to eat and drink at night). The air is filled with a pungent aroma which can only be described as raw sewage. Access to beach and apartments (not Villas) involves lots of stairs. Pool bar very limited for food and drink and closes at 6 o'clock each evening. No snacks / ice creams available at pool. Tables, chairs ,sun loungers & brollies broke but still being used at pool and beach. Loose and crumbling stone work around pool with no pool attendants. Glass, bottle tops and rubbish on beach. Staff very reluctant to assist, respond or volunteer any information in order to resolve any problems. Balcony balustrade less than 80cm high making it unsafe for children. PROS: None

Nice hotel close to the beach

I liked the resort and the fact that it had a grocery store. Was quite and walkable to the center of Island. We enjoyed the stay even though the weather wasn't the best.

nice location

Good location. great kitchen and pool staff. Not handicapped accessible units. Units need upgrading. Staff at desk OK, not good at dealing with problems. No coordinated, announced effort to publicize activities on site. No effort to help clients looking for dinner reservations or connections to activities. We drove to Atlantis and their staff helped us even though we were not staying there. Not told we were going to have to change units during stay.

Nice hotel on the beach.

The staff was really nice. The hotel room was nice and clean. Everything up to date. The only problem was the food was not to good and very expensive at the hotel too. Little ways from everything. But over all very nice.

Great place.

Quiet. Not a party place if that's what you are looking for. On beach, can ride bikes free to town.

Paradise in Nassau

Gorgeous location 1 mile down beach from Atlantis. White sand and warm crystal clear water at the beach. Food and drinks at the bar & pool next to the beach. Wonderful staff mini market and little grill serves great food for breakfast and lunch.
