6/10 Good

The staff were great and attentive, but I had to talk to them because I found stained linen on a bed and the bathroom sink was completely clogged when we arrived. They did get the sink fixed.

Good hotel with large rooms and pretty quiet. The staff was really nice and they had enough parking.

10/10 Exceptional

A clean, comfortable room, good breakfast and very helpful staff. The property as a whole needs a facelift. The landscaping needs an update and many areas need to be remodeled. On the whole, however, it offers good value for the price. It was a very pleasant experience in a beautiful part of the country.

8/10 Very good

The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The property is dated but well maintained. My only issue was due to being a woman traveler, the doors to the room wings do not close all the way and were not locked, so anyone off the street can wander in.

Stayed here while visiting the Arcata area. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was decent with eggs, sausage, waffles, cold cereal, and croissants. The hotel was reasonably quiet during our stay. There aren’t really any amenities to speak of, but it worked fine as a simple place to sleep. The Mexican restaurant next door was good, and Toni’s down the street was also worth visiting.

We had the best room for my husband that needed a lower floor with easy walking access. The staff was exceptional. Breakfast choices were everything we needed and the area was spotless. This is our second visit here and we will be back again.
