This was the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed out. Not only was the road that is beside the hotel super loud and busy, all hours of the night, but the noise came from all sides. The parking was right up against the ground floor rooms, so we heard all the talking, alarms and even got to see the headlights directly into our room. Then we had the elephants stopping around upstairs until 3am and then started up again at 6am. Then there was the hall noise, vacuuming started before 7am, but the worst was the room above we could literally hear everything being said. We couldn’t get a break and was a terrible, sleepless night.
It’s unfortunately because the room was as pictured, linens and towels were comfy. I didn’t bother calling the staff because she wasn’t pleasant upon checkin so assumed she would be just as unhelpful.
In the morning, you can see the church van from this congregation of loud people taking up the entire breakfast lounge.
Just the noise factor alone, I’d never stay here again. They need to invest in some soundproofing all around.
