Our room was clean, breakfast was delicious and the staff was really friendly. State Fair was going on next door, but it did not disrupt our stay. One suggestion would be to clean the vents and under the air conditioner more frequently. Otherwise, our room was clean.

In town for State Fair. Only stay at this location due to convenience to the fairgrounds with a little one and long days in the show barn. Staff were not friendly at all. Our room got cleaned ONCE in a four night stay. During the one “clean” our trash wasn’t pulled and no clean bathroom linens were left. They only made the bed and took dirty bathroom linens. When we went to the front desk to voice our complaints about room service we were told they only come every other day.🤔 The smell of weed was awful, inside and out. The smell was so strong in the elevators it’d make you sick. So bad we started taking the stairs after the first day, even with carrying a 1 year old, bags, cooler, etc. Needless to say we were NOT impressed this trip. Highly disappointed.

When arriving to check in there was no one at the front desk. Another lady was already there waiting as well. We waited approximated 5-10 minutes and I kept saying HELLO?? Finally a young man came walking down the hallway, in no apparent hurry and goes behind the counter and says can I help you? This was a bit unprofessional and unusual for the Hampton Inn's normal courtesy and efficiency of service. Other than that experience it was pretty good. The room was very clean as was the dining area.

Overall was a great location, the room was huge but that may have been because the room they gave us was wheelchair accessible and the staff was very friendly. The only complaint I have is the air conditioner in the room was right next to the bed so the air was constantly blowing on whoever slept on that side of the bed. The second night we put a towel over the vents to have the air on still but not disturb us while we were sleeping.
