The hotel was being renovated during our stay. We were put on floor 5 and the construction was on floor 6, but it sounded like it was right next door. During our stay there was an evacuation caused by the construction crew damaging the sprinkler system. The following day there was a water outage. All of this was beyond the control of the staff, and they were as gracious as they could be. Still, not the best experience. Our room was never serviced during a 4 night stay. We decided not to complain because the staff were dealing with so much already. We left the room with overflowing trash bins and had to go to the lobby for coffee and tea because the supply in the room was only enough for one day. The fitness center was very nice and well equipped. There was bottled water for the first 2 days but none on the last 2 days. We were there for an event which was catered. The food was very good! I went to the sports bar a couple of times and was served by a very friendly bartender. My recommendation is to wait until renovations are complete before staying here. I’m sure the disruption is not easy for the staff and contributed to the less than stellar experience.

Upon arrival, the staff greeted me and my daughter with smiles, and they were eager to help. They gave us rooms right next to each other, but unfortunately, we needed to move due to an air conditioner issue. The gentleman at the front desk immediately sent maintenance to take a look and relocated us down the hall to another room with no hesitation. We took advantage of the lounge area, the food and the conversations with the other guests was absolutely amazing. My future visits to the Augusta area will definitely include Doubletree as a place to lodge.

Good enough, clean enough, inside pool was fine outside pool was not working. Check in was fine. What annoyed me, was at breakfast, I sent my 2 daughter's to get a muffin and a banana or fruit, because we were going to my daughter's soccer game and she needed a quick bite, then we would go get a big breakfast after, this lady who thought she was being helpful helped them pack up a big to go box that costed almost 40 dollars when I just wanted the continental breakfast for 8 dollars the food wasted of course because we were 6 mins from the fields and then I had to go spend more on real breakfast. I was like what are you doing and she was like are you going to deny her pancakes and I am like are you kidding me, this is a waste! I told them to just get something small and she is like its all the same price... it is not, its a huge difference

I asked for some tiles and the guy ran them up the star to the 5th floor and he said I didn’t wanna wait on the elevator sir that top notch service and the waiter she was amazing she was running it was amazing stay .Super clean .the guy that ran up the stairs was a guy with glasses

One of the best hotel accommodations of my 70 years of experience. The beds were extremely comfortable. The staff and personnel were outstanding and accommodating. The hotel was nice, but the room was really old. They're about to renovate, which is way overdue. The hot tub was chipping, and the bathroom wasn't clean. After I cleaned it, the jacuzzi tub was perfect and easily fit three people. It helped me relax and eased some muscle soreness. The bed was awesome. The room had no exterior window, so no sun came through. I closed all the doors and slept like a baby, right through my alarms. The breakfast bar was okay. The pool and workout room looked clean. Overall, it was a good experience!
