Great price & location, but don't expect a resort

This place is such a great deal for the price. It is at least half the cost of any other place you would stay at in the same area. It is newly renovated, but still a little unkept in areas. Overall I was very happy with the cleanliness and service. There are 2 things, other than the price, that make this place so great. First, location location location. You are a 3 minute walk from your own access to the beach. They have lounge chairs and umbrellas set up. It is by far the most beautiful beach space I have ever seen. Second, rather than providing a breakfast on site, they give you vouchers for local cafes to eat breakfast. The food was delicious and offered a lot of flexibility to our mornings. I felt safe the entire time. I also enjoyed using the pool at the end of the day when I was done at the beach. They cleaned the rooms daily, which was appreciated. There were beach/pool towels available. Overall, I would stay here again for sure!

Solo female traveler

I enjoyed my stay here because it was close to everything. However, when i checked in the room does have a slightly mildew/mold smell, the cleanness was great (including the table and chairs outside) the curtains had holes in them and on my last night I noticed some type of fuzzy caterpillar crawling around in the bedroom area. Nonetheless, I would stay here again especially for the price I paid for 4 nights($1,476) the beach area w/chairs and umbrellas that hotel provides across the street (no restaurants or bar) and definitely for the location. I only used the breakfast voucher at the island restaurant and I only got the yogurt bowl, which was good. Also, as a solo female traveler I felt very safe and I was on the ground floor in room 102. I had a driver that transport me to further places.

Clean and Comfortable

The hotel had great hospitality. The lady at the front desk was extremely polite and responded quickly if anything was needed. The hotel looks old from the outside, but the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The hotel was right across from the beach, with easy access. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Breakfast spots had great food with plenty of options to choose. You might have to pay additional after the voucher they give, but still was good on pricing to me. It was very convenient for our stay and we loved it.

Great place to stay! : )

I LOVED our stay here! The hotel is across the street from the beach and is within walking distance of shopping areas, eateries and casinos. I loved that there was a pool right outside our room that we could walk to easily from our room, and I really liked that the hotel gave us complimentary beach chairs & towels to take in the sunny beach from. They also provided food coupons so we got yummy food at nearby restaurants at reduced costs. I would definitely stay here again!

New Grace Bay Suites are good but not great.

Grace Bay Suites was nice overall. We had to move from 2nd flr to 1st flr because of girlfriends hip. No elevator so had to move down to 1st level. Place was good but had to have maintenance replace light bulb in shower and fix drain plate which was loose. Had plenty of towels, AC worked very good, nice bed and TV worked fine. Eben at front desk was excellent and gave $20 vouchers for breakfast at Shay Cafe. She was very pleasant and very responsive to our needs. We had free beaches lounge chairs and umbrella at the Grace Bay Beach which is a 15 min walk to beach or 2 min drive by car to lot with free parking. Pathway to beach for our hotel took a 2 min walk to beach. This is a 3-4 star place not luxurious but has been rennovated as advertised. It is centrally located to many restaurants and shops which is very convenient but be prepared to walk if you don't have a car. Castaway Bar and Danny Boys right close by for night life.
Grace Bay Beach where we had lounge chairs and umbrella. Outstanding beach in the world as advertised.

Our hotel in Turks

We were a family of 5 staying at this hotel. The staff are very nice and welcoming. We had breakfast included which came in the form of vouchers to 3 different restaurants nearby. We tried them all and all of them are really good. On the first day we had a little issue with hot water but they took care of the issue promptly and also compensated us. If your looking for a 5 star hotel this isn't your place. But if your looking for a budget friendly or a hotel that accommidates 5 or maybe more this is your place. Location is great. You are literally on the main street with all the nice restaurants to try. And the beach is a 5 to 10 min walk. They have dedicated chairs and umbrellas at the beach reserved for the hotel at the beach. Taxis are very very expensive in Turks so we were lucky that everything was at walking distance including they Thursday fish fry was only about a 20 min walk. The pool is a little on the smaller side but the kids still enjoyed it. The beds were very comfortable. There is a small fridge and microwave in the room.

So when I arrived I was very disappointed seeing the look of the hotel it looks like it was a motel. Reception area was tiny the receptionist was very nice and helpful. The ice maker was in the reception area and the reception area closes at 8 so you will have access to the ice. The description said that it includes free breakfast first of all the dinning area wasn’t even at the hotel. They give you a voucher up to $20 at a coffee shop the $20 excludes specialty coffee and it’s so expensive that you end up paying your breakfast. They call it suites they are not suites this is a motel that was renovated as hotels they have up to the 3 floor and No Elevator thank God I was on second floor cause I have both knees operated Pool is very small. In the room the second day the cleaning people didn’t refill creamers or cups.description of this hotel is not correct. I will never stay at this place again very disappointed I tried to make the best of my vacation.

The location of Grace Bay Suites is very central to shops, groceries, restaurants and it is a short walk to the beautiful beach. There are three breakfast options which was nice although the ticket given by the hotel did not cover the cost of any breakfast we had. The rooms are clean but are painted cell grey which isn’t very warm and welcoming - white or yellow or a warmer colour would’ve brightened the room and made it feel more “beachy” and accommodating. TV and fridge were great. mattress very very hard. The cleaning staff were very nice. The person on the front desk was helpful but a tad impatient and not super friendly. For those who want a room close to the beach that is affordable and central I would recommend Grace Bay Suites.

We never had hot water our entire stay. We told the staff everyday and it was never fixed. We had a toilet leak and smell the entire time as well. We told the staff and it was not fixed as well. The location was great. Was the plus side. Beds were comfortable.
