We moved here last minute from a grimey hotel down the street, so we had to settle for a small room next to the elevator w a parking lot view, but it was still really nice. We’ve stayed here before, in a bigger room w a water view, and it was awesome. Will definitely stay there again. Only con is the shuttle they offered… the pickup time kept getting pushed off to the point where we finally just called an Uber and it was there in 2 minutes. They need more shuttles going at once.

We had an amazing stay at Amara Cay Resort! The property was beautiful, clean, and relaxing, with an incredible waterfront setting and a true tropical Keys atmosphere. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our entire stay. The pool and outdoor areas were perfect for relaxing, and the location made it easy to enjoy everything Islamorada has to offer. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend Amara Cay to anyone visiting the Florida Keys. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Great resort! Family and pet friendly. Your stay includes paddle boards and kayaks which was super fun! The pool and pool area was very nice and clean and well maintained. Room was clean and comfortable, nice size as well. We really enjoyed the use of the shuttle that you can book and use for your transportation to any location within a certain mile range. Absolutely loved this resort! Amazing service and Happy Hour at the Pool! Excellent Transportation options and within walking distance to some really nice restaurants. Great stay after 3 nights in Key West for our Anniversary. Hotel staff communicated with us to plan our arrival and was able to accommodate an early check in. It was a wonderful stay, just book it!

The front desk staff & the shuttle drivers were amazing. As for the bartenders outside in the pool deck, they weren’t the nicest nor attentive & other guest had made the same complaints. We understand it can get busy, but they wouldn’t pay attention to who’s been waiting for the longest to get helped. Aside from that, the A/C on both rooms booked, were not cold at all & had been locked. We sweated the whole night through. Lastly, I did find a tiny roach near the coffee machine in the room. Oh! Ziggie & Mad Dogs was terrible! 8 of us & not one order came in good. I highly recommend you go elsewhere.
