Absolutely amazing stay and great location for hikes. We were so impressed and the staff were so lovely throughout our stay. Will definitely be coming back. Only improvement would be having tea/ coffee in the rooms. But otherwise perfect!

We booked the Triple Room and had a not-so-pleasant experience in September since there was no air conditioning in the room, and if we opened the windows then huge bugs came into the room. So the next morning we asked to move to one of the apartments since there was air conditioning there, and the hotel manager was very kind and handled our request with great care. We upgraded to the Montis Suite and it was amazing!! Beautiful apartment, clean, a lot of room, and even a fully equipped kitchen. Breakfast at the hotel was great as well. So overall, we had a wonderful experience at Waldrast (-:

Good location with a 15min walk to the gondola. Lots of amenities. Note that there is not air conditioning in all of the rooms. It’s listed as having AC on the property but only the suites actually have it in the room. Feels a bit misleading given the room price is still high.

We traveled from the US to experience the Dolomites. Our stay at Waldrast was exceptional, especially staff hospitality, food, and walkability to cable car and hiking trails. We also enjoyed the wellness center - sauna and steam room were highlights! Waldrast offered a clean, comfortable, and relaxing vacation and we would recommend it to couples and small groups if they prefer a quiet and peaceful ambiance in the mountains.

Could not have asked for a better experience than this. We enjoyed every moment of our trip, it truly felt special and exciting. The spa was relaxing, the dinner was a fine dining experience that felt elevated and also wasn’t overly expensive. We felt like royalty staying here. The customer service was also exceptional, the front desk employees were all very welcoming and friendly. A very classy hotel in a beautiful part of Italy. We will be back.

Great place to stay. Lovely room, fab restaurant, great views! We stayed in a room that had no air con and it was baking hot as it faced west. Nowadays you really do need AC in the summer. If they get that installed it’ll be perfect!

Wir haben vier Nächte verbracht und waren rundum zufrieden. Besonders der kleine aber feine Garten mit Liegen haben wir jeden Tag nach einer Wanderung genossen. Tolles Zimmer (waren im Neubau). Trotz des Waldes rundum ist es von morgens bis abends sonnig!
