I was there on a solo trip for three days, and it was just what I needed: clean, quiet, off the beaten path, but not too far that I ever felt unsafe. I was on the Internet, looking for a place, and the grounds at Belize Budget Suite looked so lush and tropical, I was immediately taken. Upon arriving at the facility it did not disappoint. It’s just as beautiful as the picture on the internet. The staff and owner is so warm and friendly, they aim to please! it is very clean and the kitchen has all the essentials. I would not hesitate to come back for a return visit.

The hotel itself is down a dirt road and off the main road so if it rains and you want to walk to the road it’ll be muddy and full of puddles, just a heads up but the property itself is clean and well maintained. The rooms are all unique and loved the space with the little kitchen and separate living area. The beds were not the most comfortable and only have one pillow on each bed- had to ask for another pillow. AC worked well and the unit was clean. José was super attentive and kind to us during our stay. It was a little odd that you couldn’t deadbolt the door from the inside. Enjoyed our stay overall.

Charm on a budget. Loved the friendly and helpful hospitality and fun themed murals in the room. I was very happy to have a microwave/refrigerator in the room. Bed was comfortable and everything worked as expected. Nice binder of information and recommendations in each room shows that the owner caress. Only disappointment was not having shampoo/conditioner provided in the shower and a water dispenser/recycling bins on site (the island has a HUGE problem with plastic bottle litter- so a bottle refill station at each hotel would help!) I feel like with a little rearranging of chairs, the front garden area would be an absolutely lovely place to hang out. Would stay again.

We had a great stay at Belize Budget Suites. Everything was as described and as pictured on their website and other links. The personnel were all welcoming and accommodating. They checked with us regularly to see if we needed anything; handled our surprise early arrival with good cheer, helped us with local information and advice. The Suite had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The grounds are lovely and enjoyable for sitting outside. The location was perfect for us. The communication before and during our trip were awesome. There are great instructions and information in the room, and great advance information to know what to expect. Good Wifi made use easy to use What'sapp to contact local businesses.
