So glad to have found this place! I stayed here for a one night stop on a longer road trip and it was perfect. It looks a little dated and perhaps a tad rundown from the outside, but the inside is recently updated, clean, and well kept. The staff were really lovely and helpful. A great highway stop while travelling into Salmon Arm, best price for the best quality compared to other local establishments. Very pleasant greeting, comfortable and cozy room in the back (not facing the highway!) and great amenities on offer (tv, wifi, coffee). Great for an overnight where we needed to start fresh early the next day!

Older motel but VERY well maintained. Pride of ownership shows thru! The setting was quaint, although adjacent a very busy Hwy1, so light sleepers may not have a great sleep. The A/C needs re-charge (our A/C unit only kept the room live-able when 32+ degrees outside), but we enjoyed our sleep thru the night (a/c was good white noise) as beds were comfortable with heavy comforters. We'ld stay again! Canoe is a nice little community on water's edge.
