We stayed 8 nights at the Petra Hotel. The room, staff and location were excellent. Everything seemed to be a walkable distance, but we like to walk. One thing that might deter people choosing this hotel is the lack of AC. We visited in late July and the room was hot. The Petra restaurant also deserves recognition as the breakfast and coffee were also excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again if the opportunity arises.

Wouldn’t stay here again. With no AC, room was hot and humid. Lots of noise from street. Noisy inside too. Room was tiny - no bathroom counter space, nowhere to put anything. Barely enough room to open suitcase on the floor. Be careful when bending down to put something in the bathroom trash can. There is a good chance you will stab your head on the small metal shelf. Breakfast was nice and room was clean. Tiny elevator - only enough room for one person and bag. Great location, close to park and nice restaurants.

Great location and a stylish hotel. Unfortunately, the soundproofing is terrible—you can hear every noise from the rooms next door. For a hotel at this price point, having to request housekeeping on demand with a door sign (which no one mentioned at check-in) is unacceptable. It feels lazy. The reception staff were very young (teenage girls) and unhelpful. When I asked why our room hadn’t been cleaned, and if they could tidy up I was told, “I’m not housekeeping.” Wouldn’t stay here again and can’t recommend it.
