8/10 Very good

We had a good stay at Willa Retro, and felt the hostel was worth what we paid for it. It’s not glamorous, but super functional. Staff is never at reception but VERY easy to communicate with via text (even in English). There is one bathroom (one toilet, separate room with one shower and one sink) for most of the hostel which was a little difficult and sometimes crowded. The walls are thin so any time someone was loud that was heard by all. It definitely has charm and authenticity, sort of feeling like you’re staying at your Polish grandma’s house if your Polish grandma is a chain smoker. Overall, I was very grateful for staff’s easy communication and everything that was provided (towels, kitchen area). Traveling as a pair, it was just fine for us!
