Excellent value

An excellent alternative to more expensive downtown hotels. Located just a quick U-Bahn ride from the city centre, and very conveniently for the S-Bahn ride from/to the airport: You change at Wandsbeker Chaussee, and then just go one stop on the U-Bahn. There is a U-Bahn exit/entrance right outside the hotel. Cosy and friendly atmosphere, nice and helpful staff. Very clean and well kept. My room was rather small, but it had all I needed, apart from coffee (only tea bags!) but there is a free coffee machine in the reception. The mattress was quite hard. Best feature: a very abundant breakfast buffet with fresh vegetables (but not a lot of fruit). For the sweet tooth the Nutella dispenser is a big plus!

Location of the hotel is very convenient to U-bahn, bus stops, stores and cafes/restaurants. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful - smooth check-in and check-out. Rooms were clean and comfy. The physical condition of the room and especially bathroom was satisfactory, needing some renovation.

Vi kom tidigt tidigt på morgonen, jag och två mindre barn, från nattåget och möttes av sådan vänlighet från både natt- och dagportier. De ordnade med frukosten, såg till att vi blev incheckade tidigt och var allmänt otroligt vänliga. Hotellet var snyggt och trevligt och med en fläkt och öppna fönster var det okej i rummet, värmebölja till trots. Frukosten var trevlig också, en ganska vanlig hotellfrukost. FrukostPersonalen var också trevlig och vi kände oss verkligen väl omhändertagna. Hotellet ligger också extremt nära en tunnelbanestation vilket gör det enkelt att ta sig in till de mer centrala delarna inklusive centralstationen. Portiern tipsade oss också om en rolig sushirestaurang med ”running sushi” just i närheten. Roligt för barnen! Precis allt man kan önska sig som ensamresande tågluffare med två mindre barn! Tack!
