My Disabled dad and I travel to this particular location 2-3 times per year, including every Thanksgiving holiday. We have never had any issues before, but this time we did. The requested handicapped shower seat was not placed in the bathroom until the day of Thanksgiving even though we arrived the day before at 3pm. When we were finally able to shower, the shower gel dispenser was completely empty and luckily I had a small bar soap to use. Attempts to reach the front desk were unsuccessful initially, but when I did reach someone, they said they would bring the gel up. We went to our family dinner at 2pm and returned at 9pm ready to shower and no shower gel had been delivered. I tried calling, no answer so i had to physically go downstairs and request for the shower gel. The manager brought it up anout 30 minutes later.
The temperature in the room remained cold for 2 days, although we turned the heat on and my dad was uncomfortable most of the trip.
As for breakfast, there is usually grits served, but this time some funny looking oatmeal was served both mornings consecutively.
Overall, the hospitality was not as great as it usually is. I was at this location for business this past June and everything was great. This is normally our go to location because our handicapped requests for dad are always accommodated.
We understand that the holiday crowd may have factored in and will possibly return another time.
