For a low-star hotel, this was an excellent stay. The hallways and communal spaces were run-down and dingy - to be expected at a cheap and "lower-quality" hotel; however, the room felt surprisingly clean and comfortable. It is right next to a busy interstate but we didn't hear any traffic noise inside of our room. The breakfast is very basic with a waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, and orange juice. You get what you pay for but this one is better than many other low end hotels!

Hotel.com had this rated 8.8. That is the only reason I considered Econo. We were on the second floor. NO ELEVATOR! Is this the 1950s? The carpet on the stairs was very worn and filthy. Breakfast was fine and the staff was good. But 8.8 rating? I guess I’ve learned my lesson.

We understood the property is under new mgmt this year after a long time of many terrible reviews. The staff is the main reason for a three-star rating: Very friendly, welcoming and approachable. We stayed 9 nights, visiting our daughter and our grandchildren. The room was pretty clean, however they're still in need of repaired workmanship. The dresser needed to be balanced, drawers kept opening when filled with clothes. The water faucets need work; noisy, loose and difficult to operate. Steps and upstairs carpeting / padding needs replacement. Breakfast area is clean and constantly refilled. Staff is very nice and conversational. The waffles are good and we enjoyed the OJ. Coffee was refilled all the time; plenty of cream and sugar. Parking lot is well-lit and in good shape. I hope they continue their work on the property.

I think they are still working on doing some upgrades. The rooms have been recently updated (fresh paint, new flooring), beds could stand to be replaced. Lots of pot smell in the halls after 6pm even though non-smoking. Breakfast had no protein of any kind. For price and one overnight stay it wasn’t bad.

Alan and Jamie are always so kind and friendly. They are accommodating to a single woman traveling alone. I love that there is a no pet policy, although the "service animals" I've seen on property are awful suspect. Quiet time is also enforced. Truly a diamond in the rough. The price is just the icing on the cake! The price is NOT indicative if what you receive. It's spacious, clean, has breakfast and amenities, and close to restaurants. I've stayed at larger brands, paid more, and received less. I love this lodge.

Check in took way too long with stupid issues. Paying in advance was actually more difficult than paying on arrival, so why do that? Room was not made up between the two nights we stayed. When I asked why I was told that I had to request that in advance. Given that every other non-flop house motel in America provides this service automatically, I asked how I could even know that I must request cleaning? No answer there. Everything from bed linens to carpeting was shoddy and worn.

Pros: clean, well maintained, quiet. Cons: No hairdryer in room. Desk clerk said they didn’t have any. Later discovered desk clerk was wrong, but had already purchased one at Walmart. Shampoo container in shower was empty. Was already soaking wet when I noticed this, so elected to wash my hair with bar soap rather than dry off, get dressed, and go to the desk for a shampoo refill. Kleenex dispenser was empty.

First there’s the good parts. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the beds were clean and comfortable. Otherwise the carpet on the stairs was ripped and uneven down the hallway with humps underneath. The toilet was unstable and the shower and shower curtain had stains and were disgusting. There were tiny ants on the bathroom floor and the tub walls. The Kleenex hadn’t been replaced and the shampoo and conditioner were about empty. And the top lock on the door was broke off. And there were people out in the parking lot until late at night blasting music and smoking pot. This hotel was rated a 9.0 but there’s no way it’s even close to that. More like a 3.

We had an absolutely outstanding experience at this hotel 30 minutes from Denver. From the moment we arrived, the staff went far beyond what would normally be expected to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Every single person we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping us have a great trip. They didn’t just handle the basics, they took time to talk with us, offer thoughtful recommendations about things to do around the city, and made sure we felt confident navigating Denver. That level of care made a huge difference. What stood out most was how consistently they checked in on us, not in a forced or scripted way, but in a sincere, human way that made us feel valued as guests. It is rare to experience that kind of hospitality across an entire team, but here, it was every single staff member. Their willingness to go above and beyond turned a simple hotel stay into something memorable. If you are looking for a place where the people truly care about your experience, this is it. We are incredibly grateful and would absolutely stay here again.

So i always go to the bad reviews to see what people have to say about the establishment. A lot of people complain about the smell, the carpet,the quality of the breakfast. Well heres one thing to say about that. If you want a 5 star reaprt stay at a 5 star resort dont choose a hotel that has the word "Econo" in it's name. Were the carpets on the stairs up the rooms a little dorty and the hallway smelt a little dusty? Yes it dod. But im not sleeping in the hallway on the carpet. My sheets were clean, my room was clean, the lights worked, the water got hot in the shower, and they have onsite parking. If youre on a rpad trip and you want chocloates on your pilow and a plush white robe hanging in your closet and soft elevator music playing in the lobby...DO NOT STAY HERE. But if you want to save your money and have the same quality room without all the bells and whistles for literally half the price This hotel is perfect. I will 100% stay again. My room was 204

Not sure how this place has over an 8 guest rating. It was not great. I actually had this booked for the return trip and cancelled. The sheets wouldn’t stay on the bed, the curtains had holes in them, the chair was ripped, there was a brown stain on the box spring, there was no drain plug in the sink. Breakfast was there but pretty much nonexistent. Pool looked sketchy but we didn’t try it. Staff was friendly at check in.
