We booked a suite with the dog. The room was great and the staff helpful, the air conditioning and ventilation in the room however was terrible. They turned off the air con but said the ventilation system could not be altered it blew freezing cold air in the room above the bed all night. They staff tried to help but said they couldn’t do more. It meant we didn’t sleep at all, which was a shame as the hotel was overall good.

This hotel was great, all staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was super clean and well maintained, and has a really nice aesthetic and design style. Great breakfast in the morning with tons of options. My only negative was the air conditioning in the room was a bit weak, even with the fan speed set on maximum, it didn’t cool the room quite to the level we would have wanted.

This property is somewhat on the outskirts of town where all of the action is. It is not too far of a walk to the rue of Notre Dame (10-15 minutes) but doesn’t feel the safest at night. The hotel appears to have spent all their money on making the lobby, bar and common areas look nice but the actual rooms are very old and have a strange smell. My room had no functioning air conditioning but since I got back late to my room, I did not have energy to pack up all my stuff and move to another room. This made the musky smell in the bathroom even worse. The water for showers is also not hot, it is lukewarm at best. The staff are not as helpful or friendly, but it could also be because I am a foreigner. For the price you pay for this hotel, it is not worth it. Even if it was discounted, I would not stay here. I would rather stay in a 3 star and below hotel with functioning air conditioners with modern thermostats (they have some kind of antiquated knob thing that makes no sense) and hot water (their sink water was hotter than shower water).
