We loved our stay at Hotel DEA! It’s was in the old town and the room was amazing! Loved the remodeled rooms, great bathrooms and updated furnishings, it was very well done! Breakfast was amazing! Someone met us at the ferry port and helped take our luggage to the hotel! Wonderful service!! I’d totally would recommend this place!

Wonderful hotel in the heart of old Hvar. It is a five minute walk from the ferry but there are a lot of stairs. If you write ahead they will meet you at the ferry and help with your bags. Our room was gorgeous with a private patio room 202. Breakfast was superb. We will stay here again when we return

When we booked this hotel in old town Hvar, we knew the room would likely be small and that we would have to deal with lots of stairs. We booked DEA Hotel Hvar because it had a 4 star rating and good reviews. We were therefore quite surprised when we were escorted to what could best be described as an attic room, with only a sky light, no windows. The room was quite small, with minimal storage space and a small bathroom. It was clean, the air conditioning worked well and breakfast was ok, not great. The staff was very helpful in helping us with our luggage at the beginning and end of our stay. We were comfortable enough, but no way this place should have a 4 star rating from what we experienced.

Hotel Heritage Dea Hvar, not to be confused with the Heritage Hvar Palace Hotel, was a small family owned place with just the right amount of quaint loveliness and proximity to Old Town and the ferry. We walked everywhere. The rooms are all differently arranged, according to the space available. They are well-furnished in an understated way, with modern lighting, plenty of outlets, and a unique configuration. Apparently the family and relatives updated all the rooms themselves. We gleaned information (even where to go for Gelato) from the very friendly, long term employees. Breakfast was very tasty, and included in the price.

Lovely boutique hotel

The location is great, our rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly, efficient and accommodating - and they really went above and beyond when we decided to add an additional night, completely handling the move for us to an available accommodation. Of course, the stairs are tough but that's part of the charm of Old Towns - just something to take into consideration.
