The location was great- close to Leidseplein and the museum district, with a tram stop right outside the hotel. Our room was huge and had a lovely view of the canal. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely hotel with a very friendly staff. Well located—within an easy walk to Anne Frank house and the museums. One warning is if you get a canal view room you will have street noise all night long. We didn’t mind, but others might. The hotel also has a lovely lounge area where you can relax with other guests.

Hotel was conveniently located. Walking distance to Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museums. Enjoyed the complementary breakfast they gave us the first day, as well as the lovely coffee lounge. Robert, the maintenance person was very helpful when we needed a luggage rack and to remove a slight musty smell from the damp weather.

Wonderful stay! Very helpful staff, especially Ms. Jose at the front desk, just very helpful and kind. The breakfast is amazing. Everything is so fresh and the coffee is the best one I had during my trip. I stayed at the small double room with river view. It was really enough for what we needed but there is no space on the sides of the bed to put a nightstand, just a narrow space to get up and walk, but it was not a big deal. The location is amazing, you can walk everywhere and if not you have the tram stopping 1 minute from the hotel. Also, you can't feel any street noise in the rooms, the soundproofing is excellent.

The hotel was clean and the room was well appointed. The location is within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and attractions. I would highly recommend the room overlooking the canal. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so I can’t comment on that but the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a great first trip to Amsterdam!

A charming, family-run, well-located property where the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Great breakfast. This is the opposite of a chain hotel experience—in the best possible way.
