The 2 gentleman working the counter, one in the evening and one in the morning were super friendly, helpful and enjoyable to talk to. They went out of their way to help me with extras I needed and made me feel safe staying at the hotel. Breakfast was fresh and coffee was hot. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Minnesota. Great job gentlemen!!!

Positives: friendly and responsive staff, convenient location. Negatives: terrible smell in room, very musty and damp, almost couldn't believe how bad the smell was. The other real negative is that they have cut back on what's included in breakfast. No eggs, no sausage, no yogurt, not even any peanut butter packets for the toast.

We stayed at the Econo Lodge in Luverne on the way out for our vacation and also on our return trip.The staff was very friendly and we were able to have the same room both times. There was a nice little breakfast bar with different choices to start out your day and there's also an indoor pool that looked very nice. We would stop there again on a future trip.
