AZIMUT Hotel Kurfürstendamm Berlin

Have stayed at a couple of Azimut hotels, one was brilliant, one was good, but this was very poor. It's an old style hotel, but was very worn and uncomfortable, cleanliness not up to standard. Only positive point is that it is close to Zoo station. I would imagine a room on front would be very noisy.

Good hotel but at the moment a building site next door does cause alot of noise from 6am till 6pm. Good location for getting out and about. The staff are very helpful.

It’s a very nostalgic hotel but the hotel front is not very visible... easily missed... and you have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs before you can get to the hotel reception! Not pretty if you have a heavy one or with kids and after a long flight and struggles at the airport ! NO AIRCON NOT EVEN FAN!!! My Gosh!!!! At least have a Fan.... summer afternoon heat is totally unbearable so you can only have the windows open which didn’t seem to help much, evenings are much better though..., room condition is a bit rundown but considerably clean and all basic amenities are there.. No water kettle, maybe it’s standard for all budget hotels But I must say location is pretty convenient to many major malls and there’s a convenience shop just downstairs Staff are ok... not warm nor very helpful.... just doing their job Overall only good for short-term stay. Glad I’m only booked for a night

The rooms was dirty, the mattress was so thin we could feel the springs through it, the curtains were hanging off, there were disgusting stains on the floor and there were pubic hairs left in the shower and sink!

Conveniently located close to Zoologischer Garten and bus station (400m), but on a noisy, busy road (especially if you're on the front of the building), grubby looking entrance with frayed, stained carpets and people sitting on the steps drinking. Reception and bar are have little to offer except a drinks machine (not too expensive). Rooms basic but comfortable beds, grubby carpet and curtains. Would not stay here again.
