Unfortunately, our first room was in poor shape. The furniture was worn down, and the shower was a real problem: the sliding door got stuck and nearly cut my finger when I tried to close it, so we skipped showering altogether. There was also what looked like a burnt pot left in the kitchen sink. We arrived late and didn't notice it until later.
I called the front desk the next morning and they were responsive, showing us two rooms before we settled on a third, which was much cleaner and in decent shape. A big shout-out to Kronos for helping make that happen. The only miss in the new room was an empty body wash bottle.
Bottom line: The staff were excellent and fixed the problem quickly, but the property should inspect rooms before assigning them, especially the shower doors, which are a safety concern.
