Good, but not at the price level.

Good hotel, but far from town. Does NOT have a ski room. The walk to the ski lift is quite far after they drop you off in town. Then you have to take 2 ski lifts up. You can’t even ski in after, there’s lots of stairs etc to go back. Its really inconvenient if you plan on skiing a lot. I suggest you stay in Mt Arbois.

Não conseguimos tomar café da manhã. Atendimento péssimo. Não tinha nada preparado no horário. Parte do café você deveria pedir. Eles demoraram 20 min para fazer o pedido. Tivemos que chamar umas 5 vezes. E depois fizeram e não trouxeram. Não havia ninguém para ajudas com as malas. A resposta foi que eja estava sozinha na recepção. E são cabanas. Ficam longe e sem acesso fácil para sair com malas. Não é um hotel 5 estrelas. O atendimento é muito inferior a isso.

Alpaga how did you get a 5 star rating ?

Alpaga is a nice small hotel but does not hit the 5 star rating it has been given in my opinion, It is well out of town and their shuttle system is slow and requires a phone call through a call centre and a redirection. The service made us late a few times during our stray. Our room (62) was very small for a ski trip with a tiny bathroom which had a freezing cold slate floor - freezing in the mornings.

Absolutely wonderful hotel with fantastic service and outstanding food. We have stayed in many good five star hotels around the world but the breakfast here was defintely on our top five of all times. Had a very pleasant experience at check in with a very serviceminded and helpful young receptionist (who happened to have studied a trimester in Denmark). Through out a true five star experience
