The hotel was great. Staff was excellent and room was clean! I was disappointed when I checked out and had to pay for parking. I’ve NEVER had to pay for parking in a stand alone hotel with their own parking lot. Ridiculous!

Our room had gummy bears under the bed however the staff was immediate in taking care of that problem. We also were dismayed that the swimming pool was unavailable during our stay due to glass being broken into the pool. Efforts were made to accommodate us at other hotel pools. Oliver at the front desk called me on our 2nd day of our reservation to inform us a new agreement that had been made for swimming enjoyment. I was very impressed with her thoughtfulness!!!

From a glass half full perspective... The hotel is in a convenient location and a great housekeeping staff ensures that the rooms are very clean. On the other side of the ledger... The hotel is very outdated. The common area needs a refresh and the exterior needs a major update (see long plastic tubes sticking out of the AC units and dirty windows/casings). Overall, a good property with good rooms, but not the full Doubletree tree feel that I've come to expect.

Really enjoyed our room! Very spacious. The kids loved the pool and its access getting to the outdoor pool through the indoor pool, that was cool. My only issue was the bathrooms exhaust fan not working to help with the moisture during/ after a shower,

Hotel is a great partner for the Scares That Care convention, plenty of on site amenities and very close to downtown Williamsburg.

Bar had a strong selection of beer and wine, the pool was clean, and the arcade was a great touch. My 4 year old Nieces said it was "the best hotel EVER".

The rooms were nice clean and comfortable. Check in was easy. Location was good for restaurants . They could have included a continental breakfast and to have to pay for parking was not good. The parking lot was big no need to charge good thing we only stayed for 2 nights for a wedding otherwise I would choose another hotel. Don’t think I’ll go back if I’m in that area again.

4/10 Fair

Staff friendly. Breakfast very good although not included. Many amenities for kids next to Busch Gardens. Bed nice, however ceilings and carpet not clean and dilapidated. I had very limited options to cancel second day; would have been reimbursed very small amount; That was unacceptable. Probably more options if had booked through hotel. Did not see a phone number on Expedia to call directly.
