Outstanding location, with a brilliant view over Oslo and the nearby bay. The hotel is placed on a hill, close to walking trails. The reception/ breakfast room is fantastic. Breakfast is extremely good, with a good variety of food and plenty of seating space. Staff at the reception is friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and with a fab view. The only drawback is the car park with extortionate charges. The charging point in the garage is pretty weak, just few kW. Note that the extortionate parking charges need to be paid also while charging.

Lovely idyllic location with sensational views of the city. Breakfast and lunch buffets were both excellent and service throughout the hotel was very friendly and attentive. The woman that checked us in and sorted a small hiccup with our rooms was especially welcoming and helpful. Spa and gym facillites were very relaxing and available at a good price. Only wish that we were able to spend a longer time here.

This is a charming hotel with beautiful views of Oslofjord and the surrounding mountains. The breakfast is quite good, as are the offerings for dinner. I learned that the sauna/spa/pool were closed when I checked in, and that was one of the reasons I booked the hotel, so that was a considerable disappointment, and no compensatory concession was offered to address the discrepancy between the Expedia profile/photos and the reality of the situation on the ground.

The hotel is "magical" as I was told by my relatives. The view of Oslo is spectacular. That being said, the view is due to being on the top of a steep hill. Paid parking is underground with elevator access. Free parking is down the hill with quite the hike up. Just make sure you are in good physical condition if you don't want to pay for parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The breakfast buffet was amazing!!! It's worth the extra cost.
