This is an excellent spot for a short stay, good location with easy access to shops and public transportation. On a very quiet street, with no disruption or noise. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and it gives very good access to the cafe. I couldn’t recommend more for short stays and want to be in the heart of the city. However the facilities within the room aren’t brilliant, especially the shower, the double bed splitting apart as its two singles.and a lack of bins, so I would be cautious about staying for longer than a 4/5 days. Overall, couldn’t recommend more for short breaks on a budget, as it’s excellent value for money in a brilliant location.

Pensión Levi was a good value , lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance , I felt safe ; the room was clean , the bedding clean and comfortable , and the bathroom was very newly remodeled . The problem is There is no lobby , it is not a “hotel” but some rooms in a locked building, and there is no telephone contact provided , and the property never responded to any of my emails about my arrival time , so I am not sure how you are supposed to coordinate arrival . I had the stroke of luck that I did not wait long on the curb for Marina to show up to open the building for me . This is a problem the hotel needs to resolve better .

Wrong location

I always chose hotel to a specific location, and the location on the hotels.com site was totally wrong. I wanted to be close to the Philharmonie, and the map indicated that, but it was wrong. It was 20 minutes walk from where the map indicated When I finally found it, I had to pay 20 euro extra for late arrival and was sent by taxi to another address.

Die Pension liegt über einem Café, wo auch der Check-in (und das Frühstück) stattfindet. Wir bekamen alles freundlich gezeigt. Unser Zimmer ging in einen ruhigen Innenhof. Leider war das Doppelbett kein Doppelbett, sondern zwei zusammengeschobene Einzelbetten, die es wirklich unmöglich gemacht haben, nah beieinander zu liegen.

Alles in allem sehr gut. Die MA sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider ist gestern bei der Zimmerreinigung etwas entsorgt worden, was nicht in den Müll gehörte (Apfelmesser), was einfach ärgerlich ist. Bitte nur als Müll gekennzeichnete Dinge entsorgen!!! Ansonsten hatte ich alles, was ich brauchte und gute Tage in Berlin.

keine Empfehlung !

Minus: die "Rezeption" ist fast nie erreichbar, der gebuchte Parkplatz war bei Ankunft nicht vervügbar, am 2. Tag war der Parkülatz versperrt und ich konnte mein Auto, trotz Vereinbarung, erst ab 16 Uhr benutzen :-( der Zugang in das Zimmer geht über ein enges Treppenhaus (Mietshaus) , der Aufzug hält nur in den Zwischengeschossen, die Haustüre vom Hof/Parkplatz ist sehr schmal, mit großem Koffer schwierig. keine Möglichkeit für ein warmes Getränk am Morgen und kein Frühstück, keinerlei Sevice bei 2 Nächte Aufenthalt . Plus: zentrale Lage, ruhig, never ever :-(
