This hotel in right in the middle of the Gran Via, next to the Plaza del Calleo, so it is always crazy busy. Our room on the Calle Jacometrezo side, however was very quiet. It's a good base for getting around Madrid but it's a corporate hotel, so you won't get a lot of local feel. Although we generally like to stay in a neighborhood, we enjoyed our stay at Aloft Gran Via.

They went above and beyond to make our stay special by arranging a surprise for my son in our room. Seeing his excitement when we arrived was one of the highlights of our trip, and it was such a thoughtful gesture that we will never forget. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our experience memorable. The rooms were comfortable, the facilities were excellent, and the level of hospitality exceeded all expectations. Thank you to the entire team for creating such wonderful memories for our family. The room was fine for what we needed. We didnt have breakfast as we wanted to explore the city. The bar staff were super friendly and accommodating. The only downside was housekeeping didnt come everyday so we had to keep asking for towels everyday and coffee and when they did replenish they left the dirty cups and glasses. It wasnt a big deal but it was frustrating to ask for towels every other day.

Excellent location with a friendly staff. Some parts of the hotel are being renovated but that didn’t affect us. Huge shout out to their front desk / reception staff for being caring, helpful and extremely polite. Not all rooms have a good or any view.
